Development is confined only to private builders. Roads and urban planning are haphazard. Whatever GHMC touches is ugly and whatever private builders took over looks good.
All looks great, but lack of pedestrian infrastructure is disheartening. Road width can be trimmed down to accommodate wider pedestrian sidewalks. Any person visiting from developed countries would be worried because of lack of pedestrian infrastructure. Its normal in Europe and Southeast Asia to walk, cycle, take a bus and metro train to work.
Agreed, But the crowd in India is very large, difficult to maintain even if they add sidewalks. Many are using their own vehicles causing lot of traffic during peak office hours.
Pretty good tbh, but needs more side walk for people to walk on, and lane usage, I don’t see lanes anywhere. Like where are they? Add them in and have people use them properly so there is less chances of accidents.

The buildings are glamorous, but as soon as you step outside, the footpaths immediately tell you that you are in a third world city...this is real problem with India and may even contribute to health problems as its difficult to walk on the poorly maintained footpaths.
Hyderabad municipality and Telangana state government try a lot but the Indian central government is lazy and greedy they don't like us South indians they don't give us funds but take our taxes

Roads are still not good , there should be 0 dust on both sides of roads , either it should be concrete or planting lawn .... In our country , public properties standards are too low ,,, even if we create a huge city with glass buildings all over , without proper public infrastructure , it won't look as it looks in China or japan.... So roads , footpaths , cycling lines , planting on both sides of roads , and covering empty areas with concrete or by planting lawns ... These things are so important
All the major roads in Hyderabad are in good shape. You won’t even find a pathhole. They are well maintained and this area what he is showing is under development. Proper roads are not laid yet. No major road in Hyderabad is bad. Roads are poorly maintained in colonies. They need to work on it as well
