5 years have gone by and we are very grateful and thankful to be featured in a video by the New York Times! We are still going strong!
Testify. First, I salute you. I have always had a Great respect to Native Americans. As a musician myself, I am very curious about your music and would love to hear more about you, your music, life, culture and more. I wish you guys all the best. I am hoping you guys write about your culture and history through your music. Best of luck to you.
Being Navajo metal is life it gets us through many hardships it gives us an outlet for our pain our anger our frustrations without Heavy Metal in my life during my teenage years I fear that I would have been another statistic
It's great how they express themselves through music. It would be great to see some shows.

Much respect for the Navajo's! Some of the most beautiful country in the US.
This is the second metal band that is formed by native Americans, first being the legendary TestamenT with 2 native Americans.
Actually dude, there's so much more Native American metal bands out there. Especially in places in Arizona. On different reservations. Check out Obsolete, Ocean Harvest, Perseverance, and Condemn The World.

I love to see my native people doing more than just drugs and alcohol laying dying. I have seen that on the rez when I was a little kid. I've seen it in my own family as well so we must encourage each other to keep on living your life don't throw it away.

I thought this was much better than the metal from the dirt documentary.
I thought metal from the dirt portrayed the Navajo metal scene in a much more honest light. I think that documentary is more insightful and informative than this one. It showed how the music shaped there views in order to survive depression and suicide. This one is pretty bland and doesn't have alot of immersion.

My heart is sad and sorry. An entire people's culture and life stolen and burned to ashes and wiped from history. To all the native nations I say I am sorry. May the gods have paradise ready for you.
Think how they felt when european immigrants invaded theirs land's? We reaped what we sowed. How do You feel now? Your true history has been hidden from you it's all a lie. Its about to happen again. You will see. They erase more history everyday. When our children grow up they will be taught to teach a new version of history to the next generation and so on. Freedom is not given through words on paper, it's taken.
