I live in Washington state, US. We went to visit my brother on the coast last weekend and he started having symptoms so now we’re all self isolating out of precaution. Unfortunately we will never know the true numbers of actual cases because here you don’t get tested unless you’re sick enough to be hospitalized. I would normally take all this time at home to make soap and organize, but I’ve thrown my back out so I’ve been watching a lot of TH-cam. Thank you Tiggy for giving us videos. I love the design of this soap, it turned out beautiful. 😊
Also, as you may know, the Seattle area is where we had so many people infected. I live about 3.5 hours away and in our area we’ve had 3 deaths so far. Our governor is not yet calling for shelter in place like California or New York but it might happen. Right now most businesses are closed except essential ones like grocery and pharmacy, and restaurants are only allowed to deliver or carry out orders.

I retired from an Army hospital here in San Antonio, and a group of my former coworker RNs were deployed to Seattle and set up the temporary hospital. We are moving back to Aberdeen on Grays Harbor in a few weeks; where are you located?
Oh Tiggy, this soap is so beautiful! Thank you for the upload today. It helps keep my mind off of everything that is going on. I am in Iowa and although there are no cases in our city it is getting close. I am still going to work everyday in a factory. It is scary! They have implemented a 6 ft rule, limited people in the break rooms, and passed out hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. It doesn't do much for comfort because it is bound to hit us soon. Do wear a mask if you have one, my doctor says they are only saying there is no benefit because they are short on masks and want to keep them for healthcare workers as much as possible , she thinks as soon as they have enough for everyone that they will change their attitude about them ! ...she is from Malaysia and said any time someone is sick in a family there they all wear masks to avoid getting it too.....I know I’m wearing a mask if I have to go out to the doctor or to get food , it certainly can’t do any harm (as long as you remove and handle it correctly to not get any germs off the front of the mask onto your body.). Also my Doctor recommends to undress as soon as you get home, pop clothes in washing machine then shower and wash your hair before popping on fresh clothes to get rid of anything that may be on your cloths...stay safe ..
Yes. A lady called Louise worked in my local Asda. She contacted civic in May and, sadly passed away in hospital. I live in northern Ireland. it was so sad😢

Tiggy you’ve done it again!! Another exquisite soap!! Well I live in the states, Illinois. We are on lockdown only shops open are essentials groceries, gas, marijuana dispensaries (🤣)and of course health facility’s. Schools closed have a 14 yr old girl actually sad she can’t see friends but FaceTime helps. In our area there are only 3 or 4 cases in Springfield Il which is about 14 miles away from my small rural town. Chicago area has the bulk of cases but they are very far Northeast from us. Just hoping and praying everyone stays safe and stay smart! If you stay smart you will stay safe!! And Tiggy God Bless you for making these videos right now! It helps so much to think of others things for even a few minutes!
Thank you so much for sharing this video. Everything about this soap seems to be on point. The contrast of colors, the black salt, the swirl. I hope the scent is as wonderful as all the other. We are social distancing ourselves here. In my opinion Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans may have helped the spread of the virus. Thank goodness I don't know anyone personally but our state stats are alarming. My elderly mother doesn't fully understand why we are all distancing ourselves. But we have made sure that she has plenty of food, her meds & we call regularly to check on her. Schools are out. The talk we hear is students may not go back to finish this school year. No dining in at restaurants, no movie theaters are allowed open, gyms are closed. I may not have planned well enough to shelter-in-place though. At this point at my house we haven't had to start rationing toilet paper & I have plenty of chocolate pudding if nothing else!! Sending prayers & positive waves to everyone.
Me too...I’m a real loner , I love being home on my own making soap, cards, baking, scrapbooking etc..even a little housework if I really have to ! Being in lockdown won’t worry me at all , I’m in Australia and we haven’t got to lockdown yet and schools are still open..stupid politicians ! My friends granddaughter just came home from France sick, so she's quarantined and awaiting testing, but overall here in Massachusetts we have 419 (I think) cases with one death, an 88 year old man with underlying health issues. In with you, I think this will be over soon. April 10. We'll see..... In the meantime I'm in my way home from Tennessee, we're in West Virginia, with miles to go before I sleep. I can't wait to get home to my house and garden. Love that soap and the scent sounds lovely. I like your new shooting angle also 👌
Months later I have had it. I slept for a week was so tired. That was four months ago. Ever since I have been losing my voice. It gets groggy as if I have a sore throat. Very odd. Love the soap. Hope you are all well! Btw. Love conspiracy and joe as well

Just amazing, my package arrived safely and my sister and daughter love it all❤️🙏🇨🇦 We have zero cases in our village but we are doing our part and washing our hands and going out in nature and sledding and going off roading/ mudding my suv was covered in red clay mud, we went thru these huge muddy puddles and we had a blast. I’m in California and there’s a shelter in place order for the whole state. Can’t go out unless it’s for something essential like grocery shopping, pick up prescriptions, see a doctor, etc. and have to stay 6’ apart from people. It’s ok to go out and walk around so I’ve been doing that in the early evening before the sun goes down. It’s quite eerie with the empty streets, barely anyone out walking around compared to previous weeks. There were about 71 cases reported in the county I live in, but I don’t know anyone who has the virus. Love your soap! When you were using the spoon on the top, it looked like melted ice cream! 😆 The swirls came out great. I haven’t been in the mood to make soap lately (my sales are way down so no big need to restock yet). But I enjoy watching you and other soapmakers on TH-cam! Thanks and stay safe!
Hi from Colorado, US! My daughter is sick & she lives 30 miles away. She was neg. On strep &1other test. Has antibiotics, but because they have stopped testing for Covid here (not enough tests kits) she has to stay home but starting to get better. Stores only open for shorter hours. A lot of things not available. Restaurants closed except for take-out. Really not wanting to go anyway! Getting a lot of spring cleaning done. Seen the Joe Rogan video with the Infectious Disease expert from government, also. Very interesting fellow. Lots of credentials and not willing to lie to the public. Such beautiful soap! I live in Washington State, I believe we had the 1st case in the US. I no longer know our numbers but we are shut down, most businesses and all schools closed indefinitely. Hi, here in Bosnia and Herzegovina we have even a curfew since yesterday, I've been home for past few days with my daughter and mother, hoping that we will never go through this again. The recent war in the 90's was enough for a lifetime! I think that only doctors and nurses really know what it looks like when someone is having severe symptoms, but everyone is different, some have been cured, some already died so....... It will pass, we have to be aware of the danger but stay calm. Take care Tiggy, great to know that the virus has not spread in your area. My mum's neighbour has it. Just outside Leeds. She's been terribly ill but now recovering. I'm worried for my mum who has severe asthma but I know she's been extremely careful.....and only spoken to her neighbours hubby by phone. Another lovely soap!
Yes here in mo my husband and 17 year son had covid they was very sick lost their taste for over a month lost 17 pounds each and husband had a infusion the best thing you can do if you get it but get the infusion on 2 or 3rd day not after that charlotte

Following you from a small town at the Aegean coast of Turkey. Thankfully no one I know is sick but the numbers here are increasing. Another annoying thing is that I live in a place where people have summer houses. After the schools are cloed people came from big cities like Istanbul to their houses at the coastal areas. My parents were coming back to the UK in August. I was going to buy some of your soaps and have them sent to my aunties house in West Yorkshire so my parents could pick them up and bring them back to Australia. My 85 year old daddy was in the hospital with pneumonia. He was tested because my sister had traveled. Got the call over a week later that he tested negative only to get a call 2 days later that a doctor at the hospital tested positive and they’re trying to pinpoint anyone that might have been exposed! Of course they really can’t properly figure that out so we’re getting daily calls from the hospital checking on us. I’m driving my daddy crazy with my hovering and checking temperatures. So far his cough is super ugly but no fever. Hopefully I’ll be able to make soap and work on my website. Watching your videos calms me. Thank you!

In Oklahoma, US. Your soap is beautiful. 1 lady in my neighborhood tested positive, 1 of my good friends tested positive. A neighbor has a friend who lost his wife and caught the virus from his wife. He is now in the hospital going on 48 days. Oklahoma is reopening for phase 3 June 1.
My sister in London has it. Shes recovering but she’s been in bed for a week. The additional symptom she had was nausea and vomiting. She was bound to catch it though as she works for the NHS and they aren’t testing their staff. Up here in Glasgow, I don’t know anyone with it. Some people have been self isolating as they have one symptom (namely a cough) but it hasn’t developed into anything.
How horrid. There seems to be a number of different symptoms doesn't there. Diarrhoea, headaches, sickness. It's really nasty. Speedy recovery for your sister. Poor love xxx
London is a hot bed for it. My nephew, her son, also has it and he’s just outside of London. I’m actually grateful that my college has closed and we have to teach online. In my busy campus we didn’t have anyone diagnosed, however there were 3 cases in another campus. On a good note, I actually managed to find anti bacterial wipes today! I stood in the aisle of Home Bargains with my mouth open in shock. I’m not greedy and only picked up a pack because I’ve got use to improvising at home. I do not know anyone personally that has it. Last I heard in my county in Southern Oregon there were 4 confirmed. And I love Joe Rogan....my new binge channel.
Such a beautiful soap! I live in a very small town in Oregon and we have had a few cases, unfortunately since testing is limited, we don’t know how many we actually have. Places that have more testing have more cases, which makes sense if estimations are correct that the majority of the population will get infected. I just hope we can avoid getting our elderly sick, they’ve survived so much, it’s our job now to look out for them. Hope everyone stays safe out there!

Yeah the government just made them all close last night. Some are doing take out. Lots and lots of shops are closed right now too. All a good sign that were doing what we can, and letting this thing makes it's departure xx
I live in Perth Western Australia. My brother was tested as he had symptoms and had just been overseas to Las Vegas and New Zealand but he came back negative, thank goodness. Our government has taken some drastic measures as of today because people aren't taking the social distancing seriously which is really annoying as now I'm probably going to loose my job.

No one I know had a virus, but I saw a blog of one guy in Spain following his sickness. Its really bad. His 1 year old daughter also had it, but she only had cough and temperature.
It’s here. In my town, in the town 12 miles down the road...where folks have died. Daughter is ‘essential’, but because of hubby, she’s work 3 days instead of 5 and they have cracked down on some rules and lightened up on some others. I start working from home on Tuesday for who knows how long. I’m heading into the office to pick up client files and office supplies. I knew it was going to happen,, but I was thinking we hand another month. But then the gal I share an office with decided that it would be a good idea to come to work sick. She called in the next day and we had to threaten her with losing her job before she agreed to call her doctor. We don’t know if she has CV19 for sure...not enough tests, but she is being quarantined. Stay safe.
ive had the wuflu twice (posative tests on both) 1st time put me on my back for about 3 weeks, 2nd time i was only on my back for about a week and a half, i have copd and asthma so it was not a good time for me :( xxx

@@MelHeat I think that's half the trouble isn't it? Not enough testing. Everyone here has just been told to self isolate for 14 days if they have any symptoms. It's all so uncertain xx
Right and it is also skewing the fatality percentages. So many people arent able to be tested and put into the numbers.. So it is showing a higher fatality percentage than it actually is. That doesnt help the panic at all
I think I may have had it a couple weeks ago, but I'm in the US where you have to be dying to get tested! I think my daughter had it last month; she had a terrible headache and cough. They tested her (she works for the power company, so they paid for this) for flu, strep, and rhinovirus. She didn't have any of them, so they just sent her home and said to consume liquids and rest.

We haven't the health care infrastructure to cope with the amount of visitors we get here during the spring and summer months. Why can't folk just stay home as we've been told to do?? The bars & restaurants are closed (food is take out or drive through only), schools are probably out the rest of the year, college graduation ceremonies are cancelled, and our governor is considering telling us to shelter in place. I'm not terrified yet but it's getting more scary day by day.
They thought my dad had it but he came back negative. He has pneumonia though so they told him he's not allowed out at all because if he gets it it could be really really bad.

I've got friends with parents who have it in the U.S. A couple friends tested positive. I'm in Canada - and we have quite a few cases here reported and rising daily. We are social distancing and fined if we are caught not social distancing - businesses will be fined as well. It's weird. Day 9 here.
Hi Tiggy~ I have one friend who is a nurse that has tested positive, and a friend whose had two people in her house test positive for the virus, all are sick. They're all in different states from me. Here in KY there are rising cases, but so far so good for my immediate family. My middle daughter is in a college town and they're diagnosing new cases every day and she lives 30 minutes from me. My youngest daughter, who lives down the street from me, works for a physical therapy office and they tried to fight with our Governor to stay open and he shut them down, so the therapists are going to patient's homes, and my daughter is still going in to work to do paperwork. My eldest lives in Kansas, and it's spreading rapidly there. They closed the school and she lost that income (she's a Para-Educator who works with Special Needs Children in the Classroom) as they only gave her a two week check and then they cancelled the rest of the school year. She's also a waitress at a local eatery and they finally closed down dine in options and since she works for tips, there's no income there either. Her fiance also works at a restaurant and he's also started doing tarot card readings for people (yes, he's Gifted). So, the whole thing is just awful for everyone. My husband is considered "Essential" because he works for the Federal Aviation Administration and he oversees UPS to make sure they're in compliance with Federal Regulations, so in order to keep international commerce going, he still has to do his paperwork and inspections. He's in the "at risk" group and it scares me to death.
I think our dog walker's girlfriend has it - she works in a hospital and apparently had 3 patients in the ward she works at with it... so far that's the only possible one (hope no-one else we know gets it though)!

I live in the UAE, but had been in New York since the beginning of Dec 2019 for my granddaughter's medical treatment. The treatment is not finished, but we were evacuated out of USA back to the UAE by our government because things were getting so bad and we may have become stranded with airports closing. I travelled the day you made this video Tiggy, and I am in quarantine now. I must admit my first inclination on getting out of quarantine is to go and volunteer to help people who might need it, but my husband is very sick and has breathing problems, so once I am reunited with him, helping others would not be possible, unless I decide to stay away from him. There is, of course, the fact you may help and then get it, but if help is needed what do you do? I feel a great conflict of interests within about this. We had 85 new cases here yesterday, but no one I know personally. My Mum is recovering from cancer treatment and now my sister can't visit her because, in the UK the convalescent homes are on lock down, but I suppose you know that already. Tiggy the soap is gorgeous as usual! You have a true gift. Stay safe you and yours. 💕💖💕
It sounds like you need to just be with your husband, and chill for a while. That's a lot for one person to deal with, so dont try to take on anymore for now. You will get through this, just focus on the importance of family xxx
Of the 3.3 million people in the state of Nevada 50 had it 1 died. I am not concerned about getting the corona. I would, however, would like to HAVE a Corona. Beautifull soap as always. I may attempt that color or something similar. Very nice. Thanks.
Only severe cases of coronavirus are being tested and within a hospital setting (except for those who pay privately for the test) so the official figures are estimate to be 20-30 lower than actual infection rates. Unfortunately, that means there are a lot of people walking around with a false sense of security. For 80% of the population, symptoms will be mild. I’ve had all the symptoms over the past week and the doctor instructed me to self isolate. A colleague and her family has too. Her other was referred to hospital via 111 but they didn’t even test her. For the vast majority of us, we will only need to self isolate. For some, they will have severe symptoms. We self isolate to prevent deaths and serious cases overwhelming our hospitals. Take precautions and good luck to you all. I’ll be out of self isolation tomorrow.

Months later and I still don't know anyone who has been sick or tested positive EXCEPT for my friend and her daughter. They were given a positive test result and they never actually got tested lol. They signed up, gave all the info and then left because it was taking too long. A few days later she got a call saying they were positive for the virus 🤔
I find that it is very hard to understand just how large the USA is for many people from the UK. It is a bit easier if you are from mainland Europe and just think of it as the size of all of Europe. If you live in New York one of our smallest states btw you probably know someone who has it or has a family member who doses. If you live in Montana you may not see people, not in your family more then once a week. Joking, Montana's population is very low. So to your question, I do not have a person I am in direct contact with that has a confirmed case of the covid19 virus yet,. There are at this date 4.1.20 around 575-600 confirmed cases in My state. To be honest we are still not testing as we should be. we can't. Finding your channel has been a joy. I am watching all of your videos. trying to save them so I don't run out too quickly.
We just found out an hour ago that my mom cousin wife is in the hospital with it and is in bad shape and her husband is having to isolate at home so he can't be with her. Were doing o.k. but I found out friday that were being going to be out of work so my last pay check will be buying food .
In Puerto Rico we got cases that were in cruises and had the virus. Now we are in quarantine for 14 days so far and the cruises have been diverted to Florida
Also, unfortunately I am watching this video 4 months after this was originally filmed/posted. I am so fortunate to not have any personal friends and family who have gotten sick, but I live in a small seaside community that is being devastated by not only Covid-19 itself but the side affects of the necessary shut down and partial reopening etc. 😔

I don't know anyone who has had the virus. We only have an extremely small amounts on our Island. It was first diagnosed in 1937 why didn't they develop a vaccine before now, I really don't know words fail me really
Absolutely gorgeous! I don't know anyone in this area (Washington state, suburb of Seattle) who's contracted it. A bestie's parents have been tested but as far as I know don't have it. A friend of mine on Facebook - his son had it, but will be out of quarantine in less than a week. Like any other virus it affects everyone differently but the real cases I've heard of haven't been nearly as bad as the media is making it out to be. I dunno. Hopefully it'll die out or they'll create a vaccine soonish so those who are immune compromised can have that piece of mind.

Do wear a mask if you have one, my doctor says they are only saying there is no benefit because they are short on masks and want to keep them for healthcare workers as much as possible , she thinks as soon as they have enough for everyone that they will change their attitude about them ! ...she is from Malaysia and said any time someone is sick in a family there they all wear masks to avoid getting it too.....I know I’m wearing a mask if I have to go out to the doctor or to get food , it certainly can’t do any harm (as long as you remove and handle it correctly to not get any germs off the front of the mask onto your body.). Also my Doctor recommends to undress as soon as you get home, pop clothes in washing machine then shower and wash your hair before popping on fresh clothes to get rid of anything that may be on your cloths...stay safe ..

Tiggy you’ve done it again!! Another exquisite soap!! Well I live in the states, Illinois. We are on lockdown only shops open are essentials groceries, gas, marijuana dispensaries (🤣)and of course health facility’s. Schools closed have a 14 yr old girl actually sad she can’t see friends but FaceTime helps. In our area there are only 3 or 4 cases in Springfield Il which is about 14 miles away from my small rural town. Chicago area has the bulk of cases but they are very far Northeast from us. Just hoping and praying everyone stays safe and stay smart! If you stay smart you will stay safe!! And Tiggy God Bless you for making these videos right now! It helps so much to think of others things for even a few minutes!

We are social distancing ourselves here. In my opinion Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans may have helped the spread of the virus. Thank goodness I don't know anyone personally but our state stats are alarming. My elderly mother doesn't fully understand why we are all distancing ourselves. But we have made sure that she has plenty of food, her meds & we call regularly to check on her. Schools are out. The talk we hear is students may not go back to finish this school year. No dining in at restaurants, no movie theaters are allowed open, gyms are closed. I may not have planned well enough to shelter-in-place though. At this point at my house we haven't had to start rationing toilet paper & I have plenty of chocolate pudding if nothing else!! Sending prayers & positive waves to everyone.
Me too...I’m a real loner , I love being home on my own making soap, cards, baking, scrapbooking etc..even a little housework if I really have to ! Being in lockdown won’t worry me at all , I’m in Australia and we haven’t got to lockdown yet and schools are still open..stupid politicians ! I’m staying home anyway , I’ve got 3 months of medications, four bulk boxes of teabags , loads of food and new books to read...so I’m all set ! Stay safe and I hope your family and friends do too !

My friends granddaughter just came home from France sick, so she's quarantined and awaiting testing, but overall here in Massachusetts we have 419 (I think) cases with one death, an 88 year old man with underlying health issues. In with you, I think this will be over soon. April 10. We'll see..... In the meantime I'm in my way home from Tennessee, we're in West Virginia, with miles to go before I sleep. I can't wait to get home to my house and garden. Love that soap and the scent sounds lovely. I like your new shooting angle also 👌

Just amazing, my package arrived safely and my sister and daughter love it all❤️🙏🇨🇦 We have zero cases in our village but we are doing our part and washing our hands and going out in nature and sledding and going off roading/ mudding my suv was covered in red clay mud, we went thru these huge muddy puddles and we had a blast. I’m in California and there’s a shelter in place order for the whole state. Can’t go out unless it’s for something essential like grocery shopping, pick up prescriptions, see a doctor, etc. and have to stay 6’ apart from people. It’s ok to go out and walk around so I’ve been doing that in the early evening before the sun goes down. It’s quite eerie with the empty streets, barely anyone out walking around compared to previous weeks. There were about 71 cases reported in the county I live in, but I don’t know anyone who has the virus.

Hi from Colorado, US! My daughter is sick & she lives 30 miles away. She was neg. On strep &1other test. Has antibiotics, but because they have stopped testing for Covid here (not enough tests kits) she has to stay home but starting to get better. Stores only open for shorter hours. A lot of things not available. Restaurants closed except for take-out. Really not wanting to go anyway! Getting a lot of spring cleaning done. Seen the Joe Rogan video with the Infectious Disease expert from government, also. Very interesting fellow. Lots of credentials and not willing to lie to the public. You all stay safe and hope and pray this thing goes out fast and quick 🙏🙋

Hi, here in Bosnia and Herzegovina we have even a curfew since yesterday, I've been home for past few days with my daughter and mother, hoping that we will never go through this again. The recent war in the 90's was enough for a lifetime! I think that only doctors and nurses really know what it looks like when someone is having severe symptoms, but everyone is different, some have been cured, some already died so....... It will pass, we have to be aware of the danger but stay calm. Take care Tiggy, great to know that the virus has not spread in your area. My mum's neighbour has it. Just outside Leeds. She's been terribly ill but now recovering. I'm worried for my mum who has severe asthma but I know she's been extremely careful.....and only spoken to her neighbours hubby by phone. Another lovely soap!

I was going to buy some of your soaps and have them sent to my aunties house in West Yorkshire so my parents could pick them up and bring them back to Australia. My 85 year old daddy was in the hospital with pneumonia. He was tested because my sister had traveled. Got the call over a week later that he tested negative only to get a call 2 days later that a doctor at the hospital tested positive and they’re trying to pinpoint anyone that might have been exposed! Of course they really can’t properly figure that out so we’re getting daily calls from the hospital checking on us. I’m driving my daddy crazy with my hovering and checking temperatures. So far his cough is super ugly but no fever. Hopefully I’ll be able to make soap and work on my website. Watching your videos calms me. Thank you!

In Oklahoma, US. Your soap is beautiful. 1 lady in my neighborhood tested positive, 1 of my good friends tested positive. A neighbor has a friend who lost his wife and caught the virus from his wife. He is now in the hospital going on 48 days. Oklahoma is reopening for phase 3 June 1.

My sister in London has it. Shes recovering but she’s been in bed for a week. The additional symptom she had was nausea and vomiting. She was bound to catch it though as she works for the NHS and they aren’t testing their staff. Up here in Glasgow, I don’t know anyone with it. Some people have been self isolating as they have one symptom (namely a cough) but it hasn’t developed into anything.
How horrid. There seems to be a number of different symptoms doesn't there. Diarrhoea, headaches, sickness. It's really nasty. Speedy recovery for your sister. Poor love xxx
London is a hot bed for it. My nephew, her son, also has it and he’s just outside of London. I’m actually grateful that my college has closed and we have to teach online. In my busy campus we didn’t have anyone diagnosed, however there were 3 cases in another campus. On a good note, I actually managed to find anti bacterial wipes today! I stood in the aisle of Home Bargains with my mouth open in shock. I’m not greedy and only picked up a pack because I’ve got use to improvising at home. Such a beautiful soap! I live in a very small town in Oregon and we have had a few cases, unfortunately since testing is limited, we don’t know how many we actually have. Places that have more testing have more cases, which makes sense if estimations are correct that the majority of the population will get infected. I just hope we can avoid getting our elderly sick, they’ve survived so much, it’s our job now to look out for them. Hope everyone stays safe out there!

I live in Perth Western Australia. My brother was tested as he had symptoms and had just been overseas to Las Vegas and New Zealand but he came back negative, thank goodness. Our government has taken some drastic measures as of today because people aren't taking the social distancing seriously which is really annoying as now I'm probably going to loose my job.

No one I know had a virus, but I saw a blog of one guy in Spain following his sickness. Its really bad. His 1 year old daughter also had it, but she only had cough and temperature.
It’s here. In my town, in the town 12 miles down the road...where folks have died. Daughter is ‘essential’, but because of hubby, she’s work 3 days instead of 5 and they have cracked down on some rules and lightened up on some others. I start working from home on Tuesday for who knows how long. I’m heading into the office to pick up client files and office supplies. I knew it was going to happen,, but I was thinking we hand another month. But then the gal I share an office with decided that it would be a good idea to come to work sick. She called in the next day and we had to threaten her with losing her job before she agreed to call her doctor. We don’t know if she has CV19 for sure...not enough tests, but she is being quarantined. Stay safe.
ive had the wuflu twice (posative tests on both) 1st time put me on my back for about 3 weeks, 2nd time i was only on my back for about a week and a half, i have copd and asthma so it was not a good time for me :( xxx

Right and it is also skewing the fatality percentages. So many people arent able to be tested and put into the numbers.. So it is showing a higher fatality percentage than it actually is. That doesnt help the panic at all
I think I may have had it a couple weeks ago, but I'm in the US where you have to be dying to get tested! I think my daughter had it last month; she had a terrible headache and cough. They tested her (she works for the power company, so they paid for this) for flu, strep, and rhinovirus. She didn't have any of them, so they just sent her home and said to consume liquids and rest.

The bars & restaurants are closed (food is take out or drive through only), schools are probably out the rest of the year, college graduation ceremonies are cancelled, and our governor is considering telling us to shelter in place. I'm not terrified yet but it's getting more scary day by day.

I've got friends with parents who have it in the U.S. A couple friends tested positive. I'm in Canada - and we have quite a few cases here reported and rising daily. We are social distancing and fined if we are caught not social distancing - businesses will be fined as well. It's weird. Day 9 here.
Hi Tiggy~ I have one friend who is a nurse that has tested positive, and a friend whose had two people in her house test positive for the virus, all are sick. They're all in different states from me. Here in KY there are rising cases, but so far so good for my immediate family. My middle daughter is in a college town and they're diagnosing new cases every day and she lives 30 minutes from me. My youngest daughter, who lives down the street from me, works for a physical therapy office and they tried to fight with our Governor to stay open and he shut them down, so the therapists are going to patient's homes, and my daughter is still going in to work to do paperwork. My eldest lives in Kansas, and it's spreading rapidly there. They closed the school and she lost that income (she's a Para-Educator who works with Special Needs Children in the Classroom) as they only gave her a two week check and then they cancelled the rest of the school year. She's also a waitress at a local eatery and they finally closed down dine in options and since she works for tips, there's no income there either. Her fiance also works at a restaurant and he's also started doing tarot card readings for people (yes, he's Gifted). So, the whole thing is just awful for everyone. My husband is considered "Essential" because he works for the Federal Aviation Administration and he oversees UPS to make sure they're in compliance with Federal Regulations, so in order to keep international commerce going, he still has to do his paperwork and inspections. He's in the "at risk" group and it scares me to death.
I think our dog walker's girlfriend has it - she works in a hospital and apparently had 3 patients in the ward she works at with it... so far that's the only possible one (hope no-one else we know gets it though)!

i'm kinda late to the soapy party, but i figured i'd answer your question Tiggy. I'm recovering slowly from the covid plague. man did it kick my butt :-(
I live in the UAE, but had been in New York since the beginning of Dec 2019 for my granddaughter's medical treatment. The treatment is not finished, but we were evacuated out of USA back to the UAE by our government because things were getting so bad and we may have become stranded with airports closing. I travelled the day you made this video Tiggy, and I am in quarantine now. I must admit my first inclination on getting out of quarantine is to go and volunteer to help people who might need it, but my husband is very sick and has breathing problems, so once I am reunited with him, helping others would not be possible, unless I decide to stay away from him. There is, of course, the fact you may help and then get it, but if help is needed what do you do? I feel a great conflict of interests within about this. We had 85 new cases here yesterday, but no one I know personally. My Mum is recovering from cancer treatment and now my sister can't visit her because, in the UK the convalescent homes are on lock down, but I suppose you know that already. Yes, I know people who have gotten the virus and one friend who died from it. I am in Texas
Only severe cases of coronavirus are being tested and within a hospital setting (except for those who pay privately for the test) so the official figures are estimate to be 20-30 lower than actual infection rates. Unfortunately, that means there are a lot of people walking around with a false sense of security. For 80% of the population, symptoms will be mild. I’ve had all the symptoms over the past week and the doctor instructed me to self isolate. A colleague and her family has too. Her other was referred to hospital via 111 but they didn’t even test her. For the vast majority of us, we will only need to self isolate. For some, they will have severe symptoms. We self isolate to prevent deaths and serious cases overwhelming our hospitals. Take precautions and good luck to you all. I’ll be out of self isolation tomorrow.

Months later and I still don't know anyone who has been sick or tested positive EXCEPT for my friend and her daughter. They were given a positive test result and they never actually got tested lol. They signed up, gave all the info and then left because it was taking too long. A few days later she got a call saying they were positive for the virus 🤔
I find that it is very hard to understand just how large the USA is for many people from the UK. It is a bit easier if you are from mainland Europe and just think of it as the size of all of Europe. If you live in New York one of our smallest states btw you probably know someone who has it or has a family member who doses. If you live in Montana you may not see people, not in your family more then once a week. Joking, Montana's population is very low. So to your question, I do not have a person I am in direct contact with that has a confirmed case of the covid19 virus yet,. There are at this date 4.1.20 around 575-600 confirmed cases in My state. To be honest we are still not testing as we should be. we can't. Finding your channel has been a joy. I am watching all of your videos. trying to save them so I don't run out too quickly.
We just found out an hour ago that my mom cousin wife is in the hospital with it and is in bad shape and her husband is having to isolate at home so he can't be with her. Were doing o.k. but I found out friday that were being going to be out of work so my last pay check will be buying food .

In Puerto Rico we got cases that were in cruises and had the virus. Now we are in quarantine for 14 days so far and the cruises have been diverted to Florida

I don't know anyone in this area (Washington state, suburb of Seattle) who's contracted it. A bestie's parents have been tested but as far as I know don't have it. A friend of mine on Facebook - his son had it, but will be out of quarantine in less than a week. Like any other virus it affects everyone differently but the real cases I've heard of haven't been nearly as bad as the media is making it out to be. I dunno. Hopefully it'll die out or they'll create a vaccine soonish so those who are immune compromised can have that piece of mind.
