      @@paolopetrozzi2213 false reports that Khelif was a man who transitioned to a woman, that they tested her chromosomes and she failed. The facts are that none of that was true. It doesn’t rule out that she has unusually high testosterone levels (ie. Female bodybuilders), but she’s not trans, nor ever submitted a chromosome test.
      People read it online and ran with it.

      "People read it online and ran with it." Which is exactly what you did.
      At birth, his male genitalia were not evident (DSD syndrome), hence he was wrongly recorded as a woman. Checking the wrong box while filling out a paper doesn't magically change your sex. But because of that mistake, he was believed to be a girl, and this is the sad part.
      He has never "transitioned" from male to female, as he already "was" a female, therefore he is not even a trans.
      He was disqualified from the Women's World Championships for failing a gender ineligibility last year: they discovered he had XY chromosomes, and this only confirmed the wrong sex assignment made at birth. But the woke 2024 Olympics have "different rules". In other words, woke rules, rules that allow men to punch women in the face while making it an Olympic discipline.

    Good for her for being responsible in her comments and not contributing to the misinformation campaign against those two female boxers. The real question is why are strong female athletes always heavily scrutinized? Serena Williams went through this her whole career. And, more importantly, why isn’t any media outlet actually talking about the fact that many women have high levels of testosterone? It’s a condition that can cause Polycystic ovary syndrome, among other conditions. Once again, women are being shamed for medical conditions they were born with or developed. First JD Vance mocking women who can’t have children and now the world attacking two female athletes who have a different medical condition. WHY is it that women are always attacked and blamed? Media needs to do better!

      Here we go. The IOC does NOT do genetic testing. So technically, a male can compete in the women’s category. The fact that the IOC accepts a passport as proof is laughable. So science cannot determine sex but a passport can? The IOC had been warned about male boxers wanting to compete with women and the IOC did NOTHING. The tests that were ordered by the IBA showed that those two people are XY. They are MALE. It is possible that Khelif was “assigned” female at birth but during puberty they must have realized something was not right. There are people who are born with DSDs and they vary. Don’t bring women with PCOS into this nonsense. Because only women get that. And guess what? If testosterone levels are high then measures can be taken to lower it. How do you reduce maleness? You can’t.

    The Olympics didn’t issue the gender test. So in this sense, she’s correct.
    A previous boxing organization (IBA or IBO) issued the gender test, and XY chromosomes were found. Which is why the fighter was banned in the other organization. This was confirmed by someone from the organization and from the WBO who was involved previously at the other organization. Both were high ranking officials within their organizations. Note, neither of them have been sued for defamation.
    To my knowledge the Olympics simply checked the birth certificate and passport.
    This is a complicated subject. I wouldn’t base my opinion on what shields finds out. There’s a few boxing writers who are all over this story. Mike Montero is one to look into if you want the full story.

    So... She says she doesn't remember being tested for testosterone...because the "drug" testing for possible doping intake is the test where they can also see if you have too high testosterone level and as far as I know most of the sport players have to take the drug test to be sure that they are not in advantage compared to other players... Which happened to Khalif, they didn't go and check that just because they tought she looks like a man, it's just that the drug test shows levels of t. And if a "woman's" test results are too high in comparisone to other woman it can only be due to her taking the doping or if she biologicaly has male chromosomes, which is not her fault at all but still she is stronger of all women. It's as if a boxer of 100kg wants to box a guy who is 66kg, it's not same category. If he is 100kg, that's too strong of a punch for a guy of 66kg.

      That they tested to see if the person is XY or XX.
      The IBA can't post the results without the consent of the boxers, but the boxers themselves can post them.
      They could have taken this to the CAS, but that would mean that like with Caster, we will know exactly what test was done by IBA.

      What people are leaving out is the length of time hormones (whether supplement or created in the body because someone has DSD) have been strengthening the bones for years and years. That is an unfair advantage over an XX woman whose bones and muscle were developed over years by estrogen.
      Anyone can start taking testosterone blockers right before a competition in order to make it look like they have no advantage but the "damage" has already been done. They've already built up their bone and muscle over years by having that long-term testosterone advantage.

  • @J.Crooner
    @J.Crooner 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

    This is where the road ahead for competitive boxing and all sports begins to get fuzzy. If in fact these are two biological women and one of them has a medical condition that allows her testosterone level to become let's say three times it's normal range then this adds another component to how to class fighters in the future. It's for this very reason why we have weight divisions. You can't put a welterweight fighter inside the ring with a heavyweight. It just wouldn't be a fair competitive fight. The welterweight would be taking maximum damage and be getting KO'ED by simple jab punches.✊😳✊
    In order for a fighter to have a fair chance to compete against a person with that much testosterone in her system it would require them to cheat to be competitive which is already what's been happening in sports anyway unfortunately so. People want you to believe that in order to be a champion amongst champions all you have to do is work hard and train hard. Trust me when I say that will never be enough. As long as anabolics such as Stanozolol 💉 and other PEDs like Nandrolone or Trenbolone💊 exist the world of competitive sports will never be fair ever.🙏

    • @BreeIsMeTV
      @BreeIsMeTV 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s not. This is an example of people jumping to conclusions trying to fit their anti trans views. BUT THEY GOT IT WRONG…AGAIN!! She was born female, she has always been female. If this was a test in school you wound’t give the point to the person who failed. Her body naturally produces more testosterone than average, just like how Michael Phelps has double jointed ankles allowing them to bend 15% more than other swimmers, are you going to argue that make him more likely to be a lizard person… no (I hope not but I don’t have faith in you anyways 🤷🏾‍♀️). Transphobia hurts non trans people everyday. That’s not the fault of trans people it’s the fault of the people who can “always tell 🤓👆🏾” but are wrong time and time again. Put the blame where it belongs, this isn’t a difficult concept 😐

    What if we had beautiful women boxers whose tests said otherwise? But you don't have the tests results for them. You are only fixated on how Imane and Lin "look" i.e, masculine, which is a very wrong assumption.

It seems that she was only challenging him to get attention or because she knew he would not accept, and she gets no respect for that. Some of you are too stupid to realize that when a woman does something like that, she is trying to exalt herself at the expense of making a man look bad, and that is wrong. Per the IBA's 2023 statement:
      She "did not meet the required necessary eligibility criteria and were found to have competitive advantages over other female competitors." This was the result of a "separate and recognized test, whereby the specifics remain confidential" - so we don't know WHAT they tested for, what the results were, or literally anything about her. Not only that, she competed in the championships in 2021 and 2022 under the IBA and they allowed her to compete with no issue. They also only disqualified her in 2023 AFTER she beat an 'undefeated' Russian boxer, so they had a vested interest as a Kremlin-owned organization to invalidate Khelif's win.
      Stop repeating Russian misinformation. Stop attacking innocent biological women to justify your hatred of trans women. You're pathetic.
