I agree that you learn so much more by completing the project and doing the same or something very similar again. It becomes so easy with the comparison to see, "Oh, maybe I should try a smaller hook" or "I don't like this lump where I decreased, how do I fix that?" and following those trails down the rabbit hole that is amigurumi leads to better understanding of your tools, your yarn, your craft, and also what you prefer in a finished product. Mistakes are good, mistakes are how we learn.

You are the first I have heard say to purchase with a purpose. Too many channels make it seem like you need hundreds of skeins and need to be buying every chance you have. I'm on a very tight budget and have to really think about my purchases and at times feel like I'm not as good as the others crocheters out there because they have walls of yarn and I don't.
Don't worry about that! I totally understand how you feel, because I don't have that insane amount of yarn either. For money and space reasons. My place is really small, so I think carefully before buying. As my mom always says, money does not grow on trees, right? 🤣

My advice to other beginners: search TH-cam for how to double up your yarn to change the thickness/yarn weight so you don't have to buy thicker yarn! Thank you again!

O que me incomoda e muito.... a pirataria e mais recentemente essas fotos feitas com IA; já recebi várias com comentários do tipo : pq vc não faz um desses? E lá vou eu explicar que não é crochê de verdade. E uma perguntinha sobre as agulhas : Vejo muita gente elogiando as Tulip. Eu não tenho, tenho as Clover Amour que acho ótimas.... tem muita diferença entre essas duas ? Você já usou as agulhas Clover ?
Essas fotos de IA sao ridiculas ne? O pior é a gente ficar recebendo essas imagens e o povo achando que da pra fazer aquelas coisas absurdas! é triste pq tem mta gente que compra essas receitas com foto de IA e cai nessas ciladas sem saber! Sobre agulha: Eu tenho uma clover tambem! Gosto dela, o metal desliza bem, maaaas acho q o metal da tulip ainda desliza melhor! Mas é uma questao de preferencia mesmo, tem gente que ainda assim gosta mais da clover (meu marido é um deles kkkkk)
