I started to do progressive tower and seen how far I could get in 20 minutes. I finally am doing 30 minutes of time for it now and get past level 10. I also use the Olympic workshop map. It teaches you all the basic skills
Yes, but you have to choose specific maps for different improvements. For example the immortals tower is good overall, then you have something like hornets nest for speed and recoveries, dribble map for dribbles and so on. And you always have to push yourself to make it uncomfortable so you improve. If you just finish a map in 10 minutes, try to be faster next time or be more accurate on certain aspects of your skill, like catching balls, flicks, powerslide turns and so on.
@@newmemer8070 not at all. The Olympics one teaches you all the basic skills. As said in my comment to this person. If you want to hone down on something specific yes there is a special workshop map you can use to improve that one. But why not all?
I think this could be inspiring and reinforces everything you said here in this video, Most people know who ZEX is, and his mechanical ability, I think a video surfaced recently when ZEX was just getting into ranked or something like that. don't quote me on the details but long story short, ZEX was on the newer side and his ability resembled that of pretty much every new player, no ball control, or aerial ability, game sense. He wasn't born with it, he had to work for it and judging by the hours spent in the game. He put a lot of hard work to get where he is now.
Often times, when people ask how to improve it's often said to look at the pro's, but don't copy said pro completely just take note what worked for them, take the same approach and find what works for you, BUT often tagged with encouraging inspiration is a reminder we can never be pro. They love to remind us that with most pro's there is are hereditary advantages that the rest of us can't possess. (Like just pretend for example ) ZEX is only that good because of his superior genes which he gained from his Dad's love for playing games on his PS5, coincidently when ZEX was conceived, there was a PS5 in the room just feet from the bed, his DNA further altered because throughout the pregnancy the mom played said PS5, and before ZEX could walk he was SSL. Also ZEX never practices his natural talent made him pro so all his free time he's in an orgy with hot chicks, But you can never be a pro or like ZEX so get a real job, give up on your dreams!!
My problem with these videos is that it is all talk and some random game in the background. Call me crazy but I'd like to see some examples of not only when doing what you said worked, but also when doing the opposite cost the team the win.
Please dice help me I have coming up now to 4k hours on rocket league peaked d2 for like 3 seasons in a row but now I'm hardstuck in plat and can't get out. Please helppp. And then when I play with my friends above diamonds like champ 1 2 or 3 I can keep up. What do I do to solo que and rank up with horrid t8s. I've tried everything. I've tried playing patient, I've tried playing aggressive, I've tried game sense plays, I've tried mechanical plays and I just can't seem to get myself back into diamond out of these low ball chasing lobbies
If it’s that bad for you just play 1’s for awhile If you can truly keep up in champ lobbies then play 1’s until you reach like diamond or something. Then you should be skilled enough to be able to 1v2 easily in Plat lobbies 2v2
The problem might be that you might be making diamond or champ plays. But your lower level solo Q teammates are not able to adapt or read your plays or how to play them. And you may not be adjusting your play style for theirs either. Try less mechs and focus on game sense more. Try and look around and behind and see where and what your tm8s are doing. And also watch what the enemy is doing, look at their cars. Rather than looking at the ball so much. Predict what they are about to do. Try and learn the roles of 1st man and 2nd man. Also don't rely on just playing aggressive or just playing patient. You have to read what is needed in every situation.
16:49 "if you are the last player back..." *dives in LMAO
