I feel absolutely sick for EJ. He had that win in the bag. 95% chance win at that point. But I always see him throw his spare super hard and have seen him miss a spare so many times. So when that ball left his hand and it looked a little right, I was like not again..... Cant believe it :(
I haven't seen EJ choke in a long time, but he choked here. Needed just 17 pins on the 10th frame to close out Troupe, and he whiffed on the 10 pin for the do or die spare. Well, I watched Belmo miss a whole bunch of spares in his own bracket recently. So no matter how good you are, sometimes the pressure gets to you and you don't make that one shot that you've made a million times. Was rooting for an EJ v. Prather finals match, but it wasn't to be.
53:10 That experienced pros sometimes turn entirely away from bad shots seems so silly to me. Even if it's a bad shot, bowlers can gain information about the conditions by watching the ball motion. I know he's a champion and all, but this seems like foolishness.
Don’t read until done watching EJ was so pissed after missing that 10 pin and I can totally understand, 10 pins are hard even for professionals. It wasn’t his fault that he choked under pressure, it happens.
After Tackett...(spoiler below) ...missed the 10-pin I was like, it's okay he can still win the roll-off cuz he can choose to finish on the right lane. Then he proceeds to give the right lane to Troup😅😅
no hes not he dose fox and womens cbs sports he has a quick talk approach im sure he and randy are well paid t the network approves and they are in casual shirts
Not going to lie. I don't like the CBS coverage they don't have strike tracker like Fox does. I figured that would be a PBA thing not just for FS1 and fox. Anyone know why that is?
i'm pretty sure the company that does the strike track for the shows was part of the deal when fox acquired pretty much all the pba tour events. pwba has never had it for their shows, also covered by cbs.
I was at this event and asked Randy, he said it was a licensing thing with FOX, CBS would have to spend a ton of money to get SPECTO and it just doesn't pencil for CBS.
I don't know. EJ hit the ten pin PERFECTLY to win game 1 then all of a sudden he rushes up to the line in game 2 and blows the ten pin? I sorry but something stinks.
@@strongereveryday2302 Yeah I know and he's been pretty good about those this past year but that didn't look right. I'm not the smartest guy in the world but that was an audible.

What a finish! Thanks for posting BP
Thank you for uploading bro! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
If you're going to bring up the Supersonics, Randy, you have to mention Kemp, Payton, and Schrempf.

Or sometimes you just miss. Pressure or not bowling isn't easy.
Nice game, Kyle & EJ.
As much as I love to see Tackett win, that last game was tragic but It's refreshing to see Troup come back. Repping NC.
As much as I want to slap your face for being a spoiler...i can't though the screen. Cheers
You miss a 10 pin, you get what you deserve
13:31 the hell that pin still stand?

With him having the right lane locked in. I didn’t understand the idea behind EJ finishing on the left lane where he could have 3 shots on the left
I've been Bowling for 7 years sadly can't anymore because our Bowling Alley shut down in 2017 and I've NEVER seen this before
Kyle kept the 'fro intact. Urethane seems to take the conditions out of play. Tame those revs as well.
What is the video game available on Nintendo switch that is mentioned I'm trying to find the version that they advertised
Don’t read until done watching

EJ Wacked It once again 😂
Great finish by Kyle. Tough break for EJ, but he will probably learn something from it.

Agreed. I don't know what he was thinking by choosing to finish on the left lane.
Kyle's afro has disappeared!
I’m not sure why that is but if he likes his hair like that then that’s perfectly fine.
Dave Ryan is looking rough, these days. I hope he's ok and just enjoying aging.

Ej blew that big time don't know why he chose to finish on the left lane that lane was terrible
It was a completely baffling decision. Maybe he wasn't thinking straight after missing that 10 pin.
Is a pin sliding sideways and NOT falling over even rarer than a successful seven 10 split? Bizarre.
EJ definitely did that on purpose just to give Kyle that win no doubt about it
I took a picture of EJ after the match that might be the saddest sports picture I’ve ever seen. Not on purpose
Feel like Norm Duke left the 4-pin on purpose in the ninth frame of the 2022 Masters against Simonson.
10 pin becomes a 9 pin...that's a first.

Act normal troup. U got it for free. Way to pumped. Karma will get you..
Butturff is like the token bowler .. ok we all know he aint winning.. strikes here and there and leaves bad splits ?(
Happy to see likes-it-in-the-butt-ruff gone game 1. Basically bowling on ths as a lefty.

an athlete making a mistake? Impossible!
EJ has a history of not controlling his adrenaline and temper.

@@ryantio9659 No, you just can’t recognize when someone throws a shot away. Nieve little boy. 🤣🤣🤣
I'm naming my first born Kyle troup after the greatest bowler ever to draw breath and even a better human being !!!!! Welcome to Kyle's earth ! !!!
Sucks not having strike track. I wanna see speed and revs all the time! None the less, still happy bowling is on TV :) but CBS sucks!
