- 7-Eleven convenience stores in Japan always has something that’s interesting to try. There are some things that I always get, and these are available year round.

I would love to see "What's new at 7/11" videos/shorts!
Always first step off the aeroplane is tuna maYO!!!!! Classic!!!! 🍙
Maple syrup pancake of 7/11 is the best and maple syrup jelly is so genius so it doesn’t dribble everywhere when you eat it.
I saw a girl do a 3 course meal at the combini, recently. She showed us some of the options at the store then sat down to enjoy the 3 items and drink she picked. I thought it was a cool way to show us what is out there without over eating. I've also seen TH-camrs do a lunch swap. They each select the items they would normally get and then they trade lunches to see if the other person likes it too.
Happy with the less is more format! Plus I enjoy that you can go more in depth on things to. Helps me know if I would like it. Curry bread for the win! That is the perfect snack 👍🏻
Tuna onigiri and egg salad sandwich was my dinner my first night in Tokyo. We were exhausted and jet lagged so hit 7-11 before we crashed. We were not at all disappointed not to have something fancier for our first meal.
i love tuna mayo onigiri too n those pancakes look so fluffy i think i will make pancakes for breakfast i enjoyed your video thank u
Oh my gosh I love umeboshi and eat it by itself when I can.
We love all 3!! We get them every time we are in Japan.
Oh gosh Shinichi, those all looked so delicious, I love onigiri, those ingredients looked so delicious, I also love pancakes and those looked reall good, and I also love ramen and would love trying that one. I am so impressed at what 7-11 has to offer that really is so impressive. Thanks again for another great video, have a blessed and beautiful day, sending love and hugs, bye!!
In Greece when we say butter we actually mean margarine. We prefer margarine to butter because is lighter.
That’s interesting. Thanks for sharing that bit of info.
Yeahhh no need to over eat for us, or eat many bad things. Also love the flannel with a hoodie I have 2 of those shirts. Love it Shinichi. ❤
Good for you, glad you tried only three items, you look so much more comfortable afterwards versus trying ten more items ;)
Such great picks. I have to try the curry pan and Sumire ramen next time im in Japan. I also love-love the tuna mayo onigiri. I also really like the 7-11 egg sandwich. And since I really like eggs just the single boiled eggs are sooo good. So simple yet healthy and satisfying snack. 😅 I remember I also bought this green juice/smoothie drink a lot from 7-11. Sadly I don't remember the name at all.
My daughter loved the pancakes, I didn't though as I don't like margerine. I always get the custard filled waffles (the waffle is soft and it looks a bit like a taco the way its folded).
Hi Shinichi-san, hisashiburi ne! I'm glad to hear you're actually listening to the good advice your viewers give you.
About the 7-eleven, from here in Belgium of course it's impossible to know what would be to my liking or not since there is no 7-eleven here; and if it was, it wouldn't be the Japanese one but the American one, and I understand it's totally different. So I'll have to go with what I'm seeing in your video.
- The tuna mayo onigiri, of course Iooks good, I know what rice, tuna, mayonnaise and nori weed tastes like, and judging from the ingredients I will probably taste good too.
- The curry bread, I have no idea what to think about that; deep fried stuff, provided it's done in good quality oil, is always good. If the curry inside is a bit like the kind that we can order on line in those cubes, and the bread is just white bread, I have a reasonable idea about what it could taste, but I think there are Japanese things that I probably'd be way more enthousiastic about.
- And the pancakes, well, to look at those you're holding I can see the dough has been risen well, contrary to several brands one can buy over here that still are very doughy and dry, and taste too much like baking soda. You getting me? So yeah, yours look well-baked. But that margarine... no thanks. If I can choose between butter and margarine, I'll choose butter any day. Maple syrup is good, of course.
- And that ramen cup naturally I have no idea. All I can do is order ingredients on line and try to make it myself, but that will never be the same.
I can't wait to have another 7-11 Curry Pan in a few months. Somehow, I think I missed out on the Tuna-Mayo onigiri last time I visited. Never tried the pancakes either, not yet anyway.
I'd actually love to see a video comparing the curry pan between the different konbini chains
Glad you're eating just enough. Much better fir you.😊
Is that pancake maybe sort of a western version of doriyaki, maybe?
Thanks, Shinichi-San! I will try these when I’m in town next month.
Yum!! The camera closeups had my mouth watering.
I love the choices in 7 - 11. MY Fave Onigiri is caviar and Mayo. I believe the eggs are from a fish called Capelin ( Masago)
Those 7 eleven premium lamens never disappoint
We loved the egg sandwich from 7/ 11 . Maybe try Don Quijote - their egg sandwich and sweet potato was very good too !!
I'll be in Japan later this week and I can't wait to stop by 7-11. I wish the 7-11's in America were like the ones in Japan. My fave onigiri are shake and kombu. Great video...thank you!
I ❤ this video !! Have a beautiful week.
🎉🎉 Looks good 🎉🎉
Can confirm, those pancakes are the BEST
Everything looked good Shinishi. You're looking well. Take care.❤😊
Gday, apparently a Japanese investor bought out our 7/11s here in Western Australia, cant wait to see what they bring here, if they do......what you had today looked good
Thank you for showing how to correctly unwrap the onigiri!
i was in japan last week couldnt find the pancake at all! i wonder if they stopped selling already 😆😆
They sometimes sell out depending on the store.
Meanwhile my random black ass in brooklyn loves the umeboshi ones lol.
マヨネーズ!WAUW!
One day I'll send you a video of a local 7/11 here in America.
You're so cute shin-san ❤
Sucks that they tax food in Japan.
🫰
Thank you 🙏🙏 miss your mom already she's great 😃😃😃😃👍👍👍👍 hope she comes again this summer 🌞🌞🌞
This was perfect, Shinichi! Enough food to enjoy, but not so much that you get overly full. 👏 I hate to see you uncomfortable! If I ate meat, I think the curry pan would be my favorite. I salivate over anything that even _vaguely_ resembles manapua. 😂 Thank you for a fun and tasty 7-Eleven interlude. 💙
I really like this, where you spend more time talking about each item in-depth! My spouse was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure and put on medicine, so as foodies we're struggling to still enjoy ourselves while not making blood pressure skyrocket, but cutting back on the amount of things we sample seems to be our best bet. Little videos like this totally make our day 😄 Thank you Shinichi!
Thank you!
I kinda like the video, esp the 🥞🥞 pancakes looked 👍, I would like to see gyiza and oden and curry oh fish cakes
Been making Kare Pan in my air fryer as it's not available in New Zealand. Quite crispy when coated in panko and sprayed lightly with oil. Great on a cold day like today
Now that 7 Eleven Australia has been bought over by 7 Eleven Japan, I hope to be able to see awesome food like this in my local 7 Eleven. :)
I always enjoy your videos! Can you make a video on yummy lacto-ovo vegetarian foods from convenience stores?
Thank for sharing this video with us take care 😘❤️🤩😍🥰💯🌈🙏🌹
Love this video!! Love all your videos!
I have heard of people taking those pancakes and creating a sandwich with the FamiChiki. It’s creates a breakfast sandwich. I am very much looking forward to trying that!
So happy to see you create again!
Shinichi, thanks for another awesome 7-11 video! The 7-11 oniguiris are all very good. I especially like the plain salted ones. I haven't tried the curry bread yet, maybe I'll try it tomorrow. The pancakes are awesome, one of my favorites. I also like the chocolate ones, and now they have pancakes with macademia filling. Take care!
All my favourites! 😋
I love the soy sauce eggs from 7 eleven?
Thank you for the explanation about the two prices and taxes!
Yum ,I miss them
Yum to all except... margarine?! In my mind Japan uses much more wholesome ingredients than here. I'm shocked at the deliberate use of margarine instead of butter. 😮😂
I adore onigiri from the convienience stores! However whenever I return to Japan I always forget how to open them & frankly it's a performance to behold! 🤣 Thankfully there's always a local kind enough to show me again.
It all look yummy, I would try the pancakes 🙂
hmmm, I suggest 4 items. Like many things less is better. That way, you get more frequent videos. Btw, pancakes are so easy to make. Mines are like 8-inch diameter. I use a square griddle (non-stick)
Good stuff! 👍🏼 I have tried 2 out of 3! Not the curry bread 😢
