very clever gaslighting. CNN engages in exactly what she is talking about, but here's one of their hosts asking these questions as if he is genuinely surprised and curious that these things happen.
The greatest thing I saw was them talking about fox news and how they should be canceled because they don't do facts based reporting.
Glad to see others are aware of this. They needed to interview this woman as she sheds light on PHARMACEUTICAL practices in marketing. So they need to redirect her message into a one vs. one conversation.
All news stations does the same thing ,especially Fox News
I really appreciate Sharyl's style, her content, her inspiring drive to dig more deeply behind the mainstream's curtain, and her determined courage..
She and her dad are two of the best we have ever seen and was fired for telling the truth
Sharyl is a gem. I only know her from her show Full Measure. It's only 1/2 hour but should be expanded to two hours, and go up against 60 minutes.

She is a pro who seemed genuinely concerned with journalistic integrity, which is to say objectivity. How sad CBS did not support that.

My working background is in Radio and TV, so I wasn't shocked to learn that corporations feed pre-recorded short segments to the news departments in an effort to get out their message, which is basically advertising. It varied from a video of your local politician taking a tour of a hospital for children, to the latest weapons being procured by the military.
Newspapers have long held opinions which they displayed on their op-ed pages where they'd endorse or eviscerate politicians and public works projects. Media outlets often have a leaning toward one side or the other... and Ms. Attkisson was _surprised?_
It just gotten worse since 2014 a lot worse including CNN

It seems so obvious that the one real problem here is that Sharyl Attkisson is doing her level best to be as honest as she can be and that is simply not the order of the day, also I don't think the public at large has any idea what she is talking about but at least it is understood that she left because of the duality and falseness of the news media., and for this she is commendable.

Brian almost thinks before he jumps to the next question. I don't feel that he really listens. He is so intense to ask his next question...
He is a really bad reporter and asks questions sometimes that are irrelevant and misses some pretty relevant questions to ask her. Like which corporations specifically is she referring to. Seems like a pretty obvious question to me. But he totally misses it. Sounds more like he has an agenda rather than going with where the story can go.

Although Sharyl handled this interview very well, I was disappointed at how she insisted on not saying anything negative about Obama or his administration and instead kind of evaded giving a concise answer!
Watching this in 2017, journalism is only getting worse. At least she has her own show now, Full Measure News.

Would be nice to get a real investigation of her claims. I watched her show once and could see first hand that she was unnecessarily throwing in a right wing talking point so I could see justification for the claims of CBS. But it was only one show.
