I am extremely upset with the Republican party and feel truly disappointed. All the complaints about the issues we face, while at the same time criticizing the Democratic party for inactivity. Yet, they refuse to sit down and make a genuine effort to help with border security. It feels like they are saying, "I can help you, but only if you vote for us first." It seems like Republican elected officials don't care about what's happening in our country. The Republicans are not showing strength, but rather sitting on the sidelines, cheering for the opposing team. I urge everyone, including Republicans, to vote for Democratic candidates who are willing to face the challenges head-on, rather than shying away from them.

I don't recall a recession for the non-Covid portion of Trump's term.
And I definitely don't recall inflation to the point where my paycheck doesn't go far enough and I am using more credit cards. The tax credits Biden spoke of haven't materialized.

As far as what Rep Donald’s said about our economy , I am an alcoholic/addict in recovery and live in California. I sell insects for a living and take care of a person with dementia. I’m doing just fine with a car payment, credit cards with low balances and plenty of food on the table. Don’t get rich selling bugs and I live in an expensive state.
