Use your brakes a bit more when sliding out of the line youre trying to follow it straightens up the front end some and e brake too and some throttle control don't just bang it off red limiter use the power and throttle to give wheel spin when you want or need it. Drifting isn't just all about wheel spin you gotta counter steer and keep the wheel spin manageable it's OK if you're not drifting for a second to get the line right for the next turn just hit e brake and give throttle and you immediately have wheel spin
