hey there I have the same bike and I bought the same system i believe just without the end can and mine has a small pipe that sounds really weird am i supposed to connect it to the airbox? as the stock one is
@@doom2507 if you have small diameter coming off the main exhaust then yes connected to the airbox, the system I put on this bike didn't have the small pipe so I just blanked the hole in the air box
Thanks for the upload helpful info. 👍
appreciate you!
Hey 👋 my friend , can you supply me with a diagram for the couple feul tanks , because I got a problem that the 2 tanks are not switching for now , can you , please??
What size handlebars are they? 7/8s?
@@LJ420_ yes 7/8" (22mm) bars
Thank you this saved me a lot of time and headache
@@ryanhall7016 glad it could help
Neden vidayı sıkıp sonra geri alıyorsun neden bı anlam veremedim
How did you lift it what you used?
@@GHTradingTTV we used a front paddock stand that attaches using a single pin under the bottom yolk
Where did you get those plastics?
From Ebay
Heh I'm going to do the same next week ...found the same issue and also added EGR removal (hose frmo it was melted!)and spark plugs replacement (I like horror moves)laughing through the tears when I watch your struggle man...aliexpress stuff looks the same as mishimoto...got turbo works one for WRX whcih was way too big and without these alu bits for fitting so going to get "dedicated silicone" ones as you did Thanks a lot !
Down to earth good vidio thanks 👍
I mean there's a problem in the electrical connection.. Regards , THX
Electrics aren't really my strong point all I can suggest is check plugs/connections make sure there's no corrosion check any relays on the system check the main switch is actually switching apart from that I'm not sure as I'm not familiar with the dual tank system sorry can't be any more help with a bit of luck someone will read the comments and be more helpful
Hey MR , I got a problem in my Toyota land cruiser 1990 that the main fuel tank isn't replacing with sub one as I use the bottn , how can I solve such problem? Please .. Do me a favor & help me what to do? If it's possible... Thx , REGARDS
what mm was for the removal of the rear seat
It's been such a long time I cannot remember I think it may have been 10mm but there are a lot of bolts on this bike that are not original
Where u buy the lever i need it😢😢?
They were purchased from eBay so do a eBay search for CNC levers plus adding the year and make of your bike
Brilliant video really appreciate you putting this up
What are the names of the two big bolts that sit on the top of the suspension forks I'm trying to find custom ones but don't know the name
Hi, All we did was search for CNC front fork preload adjusters. along with the mack, model and year of your bike
Sorry what is the name of the front disc you mount
I cannot remember the name, but if you just search for a front wavy disc for the year of your bike you should find onw,
I am in Martinique, a french caribean island. your vidéo allow me to fix my 1991 hdj80 wich shuted off few seconds after started. Thanks you very and sorry for my english, no Google translate 😅
What happened if I removed this filter at all???
If you are talking about removing the filter completely and putting the sender unit back with no filter on it, it will cause any dirt or debris/sludge to be sucked up in to the fuel lines and calls more problems.
Thanks I think I need to clean deeply the diesel tank of my 80
Thanks a lot for the video. You helped me with doing mine! Cheers!
Thank You save me 🙏
Please measure your chain slack correctly. 20-30 mm is the manual recommendation. The measurement to be done as close as possible to the middle point between front and rear sprockets. The bike has to be on the side stand. Please use a torque wrench set to 100nm torque for rear axel. This video is a very bad example on how to adjust your chain on the SV or any other motorcycle.
As I say in most, if not all my videos, I'm not a mechanic and my videos are for entertainment and to just show what I'm doing And my videos are NOT set out to be a how to video, Thank you for you comment and provided information,
It is really fine.I adjust my chain by feel not by measure myself.I just know perfect spot.In the video I would say it was a bit tight but it won’t matter that much and on SV tighter chain makes gearbox work much better.
Keep it up. Looks much better. I ll do the same with my same bike.
I've sold it now
Question....i took the clutch mechanism out of the case cover brfore i removed it. when it goes back together is there supposed be mich movement in and out.
I'm really sorry it's been quite a while since having the bike I really can't remember how much play should be in it
@@tinytripod once i put the cover on the inner pin pushed it tight against casing and solid. leaving enough room on the outside of case for tue shaft to slide in and engage
Hahaha I had one of them my 1st ever bike
I have got to do this to my bike just got to new calipers front and back I have to bleed them both u no how u are doing the front I take it u can do the same to the back caliper as well ?
Yes it pretty much works the same
@tinytripod I will let u no how i get on them yzfr125 brack bleed in is hard work I don't look forward to it lol I usually pay somebody to do it but me and my mate though we'd have a go
I was going to get that what u put on that yzfr125 glad I didn't now there so bad to fit
Will I be able to fit handguards on these bars ?
Most bars you can fit handguards to
@@tinytripod thinking of getting these bars for my wr just want to know if I would be able to fit handguards on then
Excellent Mate...Thanks from NW Florida USA... JP
Can I install a throttle (the full part from right handle) from a different year on my Yamaha 2012?
It would all depend on cable length and cable end fittings to your carbs
Great, I’ll try that
are risers 6?
The Risers are overall 6" But from bottom to center of bar mount hole is 5.5"
@@tinytripod thanks. I'm putting a drag bar, it comes with 4 risers to add on to old risers. right now I have 4 in my bike. so it would be 9.5. As long as not messing with cables, I should be ok.
😂😂😂
Had the same issue, its a problem with the lever and the contact with the pins, doesnt push any break fluid to the break calipers.
Nice.
Love the bar swap. Im wanting the same look for my boulevard c50. Ive seen the risers on ebay, but where did you get that wide handlebar!? Thats exactly what im after!. Cheers for the video
I literally just went through eBay looking at all the different bar's untill I come across the widest one's I could find
Not a job i'm looking forward to. Recently had similar cold starting issues on my 2.5XT, changed the fuel pump today so tomorrow morning will be the tester. Thanks for posting the video, i did the Outback H6 plugs from underneath seemed easier (more cuts than enough!) , but looks easier from above on the Foz, if i need to change the plugs i'll do the same as you did. Cheers.
Thanks for the video bro it is much appreciated! 🙏🏻
Could you have used the original bars with the risers?
You probably could of, but that would of meant extending all cables and wiring, plus that would have give me the look I was going for,
Hi bro.. do you have any videos on middle drive removal and rebuild???
Hi, sorry but no
Do you have a link to them indicator plugs?
I'm afraid not, As there were bought from a random seller on eBay
Finally a vid explaining the air box 👍🏼
I didn't understand it fully because im not best at english could you explain it to me?
What tools did you use to put the Exhaust Clamp on as im sturggling to take mine off, nut keeps spinning and a very tight spot.
Tool would of just been Eva a spanner or a small 1/4" socket, But it does sound like your exhaust clamp is damaged if the nut is just spinning
Great vid, did it run and drive fine afterwards?
It did. It made it 100% better being it would idle and had lost so much power,
Thank you for this mate! I recently crashed my yzf and had to replace the rear left gear bracket! Once again thank you absolute life saver!
Do you know if the wr125x wheels would be able to fit straight onto the wr125r
Sorry but i don't know. Hopefully somebody else can read your comment and give you a answer
@@tinytripod ok thank you
Unfortunately not dude
Where did you get the connectors (plugs )
Thay come from a random seller on ebay
@@tinytripod have you got thr seller or item number or somewhere I can get some these from
I will ask the friend who's bike it was.
