1) How do you make sure you do not score the sheet metal with a die? 2) Is it possible to mount self clinching stud (M3 internal thread, what model?) in lets say 0.8mm galvanized steel sheet? 3) What if somebody do not have access to a big press? Is there some handhell tool, or something else that is small and weights less than 20 kg, that could do a job? (I am very limited in space, and I do not need it often anyway.)
I have the proper size hole, but stud is not going all the way flush. Only have a small arbor press. I guess it is not big enough to install flush? anyone have a clue?
This is "Haeger" machine, right ? and another sound like punching machine with vacuum die systems, I think this is "Amada" punching machine. I know from my experience due to I entered the factory until I was very familiar with these things. Haha. Say Hi, I'm Sales Engineer from Thailand.
I've just discovered this channel, it's full of jewels! Thanks for sharing your experience

did you ever find a hand tool alternative? I'm trying to answer the same question
@@dillonhartline8788 How much would you pay for one? Just thinking of projects to take on and this seems useful (for even myself)
