- Filmed with a DJI Mavic 2 PRO in 4K at 29.97 fps.
This was my first flight with the Mavic Pro at my favorite beach and some things went wrong.
You will notice the sunlight in which the ship dissapears, the shutter was set at fixed, it took me a few seconds to complete my move and unset it. You might notice the camerawork. There is basically only one shot here. The distance was a concern because this was my first long distance flight and I didn't want to risk ending up without a drone. It turns out I could have flown 5 minutes longer with these new batteries.
About the Mavic 2 Pro. While it certainly is more practical and has more feautures, the camera's field of view isn't as good for ship photography, because it has a more narrow view. Also, the Mavic Pro remote control just isn't as comfortable to use as the Phantom's controller.
To put things short, I miss my phantom 3, but I finished this clip anyway and ended up with showing full flight data and giving it a warmer look.

Great to see a new ship chase video from the master and in top class form too. Love the low angle of the bow and great light, a work of art. Also great to see you back at your old location, really enjoyed the footage, I hope you get a chance to do more soon.

Hola saludos de este rinconcito del mundo Uruguay espectacular tus vídeos yo realmente tengo miedo de volar en el agua y mas a la que tu lo haces espero veas mis vídeo en mi canal y des tu valiosa opiñon un abrazo
Nice vessel, amazing video. You flight drone below waterline is that because of interference occured from ship's RND while flying above or just an idea to take a movie as it was?
This was a new idea that I had, they dont like drones flying in the sky so I stay really low and then the ship looks more impressive when it sails through the waves. Thank you
Nice footage, my friend, I didn't noticed that "some things went wrong". Congratulations, keep filming like this. Take a look at my channell too!
Thank you :)
Hey Bee, where are you at these days. I know recording must be difficult right now. If you setup the community tab on your channel you could keep us updated.
I don't wanne hand out too much info to the people who try to put the fun out of the hobby with rules, money and regulations.
I get that, thanks for replying Bee. I am looking forward to your next video.
