So... what if you cant kick your legs out to the side at all on one side and maybe 10 degrees max on the other? I can fake create internal rotation and in fact did it during testing to force more movement by essentially rolling my weight off to the side of the hip rather than centrally.
One of the principles of all manual muscle testing requires that the physical therapist watches the person for any substitutions during testing and corrects it. Eliminating compensatory movements helps to ensure the manual muscle testing is as accurate as possible. Thanks for watching.
