I was 14 yo in 1986 when my Dad discovered I was pregnant, his first response was "Youre not having an abortion!" I collapsed into him sitting next to him on the couch crying and said I didn't want one. He then said "Well kids, it's time to grow up"...boy was he right! I am so thankful to Jesus that he gave me that mindset. She is now 37 and a mother herself...she is an amazing person. Thank you Jesus and thank you Dad (Elwood Sr)

God bless this man, and you.
It seems the Lord had a calling over his life, and he was truly “in the world but not of it” … I can attest to the near impossibility of working for the medical industry while maintaining your conscience. For him to be an abortionist as you say, or any other provider for that matter , means he is meant to strictly adhere to hospital/industry standards (from which there is profit). He was not only risking the loss of income by informing you of the procedure/encouraging you not to do it, but also his professional reputation and potentially his career.
And may the Lord bless you, for allowing your heart to be softened and receptive to guidance and Truth.

Just, wow! I am weeping hearing the Dr. talk about her miscarriages. In October 1983, I experienced an ectopic pregnancy. It ruptured and I nearly died. Of course, the baby was lost. Fast forward to late September 1984. I was eight months pregnant with my new "rainbow" baby. On a beautiful fall afternoon, I was in the shower planning dinner and hoping my 2-year-old son wasn't completely destroying my house. Suddenly, a literal, physical wave passed through my body and I began sobbing uncontrollably from the depths of my soul. In my spirit, I heard these words, "You've never grieved your lost baby. It was a little girl. You need to name her so that you will know her in heaven". Instantly, the grief lifted and I was at peace. What a God we serve.

Thank you for this! I'm a mom of a precious special needs daughter (likely will never sit, walk, talk, feed herself, etc.) who is SUCH a gift and has such joy even though she has no chance of living the "American Dream". Would love to see you do an interview on the value of individuals with Special Needs. Our Jaycee, who "has nothing to offer" in the world's eyes, shows the depths of God's love for us when we can "do nothing" to earn it!
Will just add on here, you often say people define freedom as "being able to do what you want, when you want, without restraint." Our Jaycee has virtually no fine or gross motor skills and we have to pay really close attention to her cues to know her basic needs. In other words, she has no control of her life. Yet she is is one of the most free, joyfilled people I know. Praise God for the purpose and hope all life has in Him! Tearing up just thinking about it!! Her presence brings so much healing and joy to those around her. Can't think of a greater purpose! Let alone the opportunity to share Jesus and the hope we have in Him with the various specialists, strangers, friends and family as a result of her being Special Needs! Brings barriers down like nothing else. Will stop here but could go on and on 🥰🙌🏼

This might sound weird but I grew up Catholic and strayed from church as a teen but I heard God’s voice on occasion. I promised God if I would not get an abortion. I PROMISED God. I got pregnant at age 30 in the first two months of dating a nice guy but we weren’t married and were not very compatible. We both decided to have the baby, our son. We never married and I basically raised the child alone- dad did contribute financially. We tried to make the relationship work for 6 years but he was not capable. So, I have zero regrets about NOT getting an abortion. And I feel so good about keeping my promise. My son is now almost 18. ❤

She became a Christian, and had no peace, I asked her if she believed God forgave her when she asked for forgiveness and she answered yes. But she had never forgiven herself, I sat with her as she wept and I prayed with her. My heart hurt for the child that was lost, but also for her. To have to have carried this torment in her heart for so long, we chatted longer and I helped her find some help to walk her further through her healing. I was raised in a secular society, taught that abortion was my choice, nothing about killing a human being and all the ethical and moral implications. I am a believer in Jesus now and although sin is sin, I am grateful for never having acted on my foolish and godless convictions when I was young. What God has had to endure for millennia because of humanity‘s godlessness and wickedness, we don’t deserve forgiveness - but He grants it to us.😭😭😭

I told her I can't tell her what to do but my children are everything to me and they changed my whole life. She had an abortion and then I cried. I kept feeling like I was supposed to convince her not to do it and I failed. She has had a baby since and we no longer work together but I still pray for her. I am not speaking for all women, of course, but here in the UK no one feels bad about an abortion. It's just a service the NHS offers women who don't want their unborn child. They will get wild angry if you say the child is a human being and call you 'the granny brigade'. It's so sad, but in the UK I find it to be a Godless, morally barren country.

For some reason, I become very emotional when I hear about babies with Down Syndrome being aborted. I have never once met someone with Down Syndrome who did not light up a room. I know being a parent to a child with a disability looks different and has its difficulties, but there’s no telling whether even a “normal” child will present challenges. 🤷‍♀️
It may be more personal to me, because I have an uncle who’s developmentally delayed from being born with an umbilical cord around his neck. My father is a retired SpEd teacher, and then I was diagnosed with autism (“high masking”), EDS, and ADHD a year and a half ago at age 37.
It has been a roller-coaster ride since then, but the diagnoses have caused increased empathy and compassion for others with neurodivergence or cognitive differences.

Those lost babies were the only children she would have, she killed! My roommate in the Navy acted like her abortion was freeing and she had no regrets and I wondered what she thought when she got pregnant again with her husband. It's so sad. I'm glad I didn't have an abortion when I had an unplanned pregnancy. He's 38 years ild now, the same time as my marriage, we made it work. She even claimed at one moment that she couldnt see anything or she found it hard to see the fetus. I asked her does that mean im not pregnant and she said no you are definitely pregnant. After hours at the hospital, finally after having an endovaginal ultrasound, they found that yes indeed I was pregnant. They had to perform what they called a spontaneous abortion. I was devastated and crying nonstop. They kept telling me that it’s ok. It was not even a baby yet and that they couldn’t even tell me the sex of the baby since it was too soon to tell. That made me so angry and hurt. I totally understand where you and your wife felt that same way! It’s insane how people see this living beautiful baby as just a “fetus - embryo, clump of cells, and/or nothing”.

Boys being circumcised DO feel pain. My husband & I were present for our older son's. Despite having an injection of local anesthetic & despite a plastic clip together method, our son screamed, howled, & turned the deepest shade of red that I have ever seen him. Afterwards, my husband announced that any other boys we had would NOT be circumcised. He admitted that his consent to Charlie's circumcision was that his son would be like himself, & that having seen the procedure, firsthand, he was so sorry for Charlie, that he'd never forget that it had been selfish of him.
Second pregnancy, baby boy, yet I had to repeatedly remind Chuck of the promise he had made to this unborn son, due to what we had witnessed.

I honestly felt like I'd been out through so much carrying them emotionally being told to prepare myself not to bring one home the countless ultrasounds I'd had , aminosentis, they gave me steroids to develop their lungs. It was an emotional pregnancy. I just felt like I didn't want to put them through anything else.
I have 2 brothers one was circumcises and one wasn't. Not sure why my mom made that decision. My husbands dad was circumcised at 16 and Im pretty sure that's a pretty painful experience. My husbands never had an issue and I think back 34 years ago is why I chose not to.

I’m a medical professional and we were never shown an abortion nor were we walked through the procedure. It was always in general anesthetized terms and the social morality was heavily emphasized. I see in hindsight how much my education was an indoctrination. I woke up from it around 2020 when all the pandemic details didn’t add up medically. The massive and sudden cultural changes that followed and how quickly medicine, psychology, and education followed suit with the pressure of the government was shocking and forced an awakening.
After I became a mom I saw an anti abortion campaign that actually explained the procedure and I was horrified. Especially after just having been pregnant. That’s a baby. No denying it.

I kept saying I needed to go talk to someone else and finally got out of there. I planned to give my child up for adoption, but he was born a month early and the arrangements were not finalized. I ended up keeping him. He is now 31. He is the only child I had. I can’t imagine what my life would have been like if I hadn’t had him, or especially if I had aborted him.

What I love about this Doctor is her candor in accepting her (unexpressed) role as “the woman at the well”. Most promiscuous women in the 70’s and 80’s were caught up in feminism, but like the woman at the well, Jesus knows how many “partners” we’ve had, and still he meets us at the well, allows us to draw water to quench his thirst, and gives us the good news to spread to all. Praise the Lord for his sacrifice, even for the sin of abortion.

My grandmother had cancer when she was pregnant with my mother and told to terminate(clearly didnt) my mom had a blood clot with my older bro and was told no more kids(clearly didnt but i was the last of 2) now im a parent and gratful that my family chose to choose life. Now im a mother of 2 under 2 years old and i wish i could provide for unwanted babies carried by mothers that would rather end that childs life before meeting face to face.

Please pray for my son who is studying to be a doctor. He was baptised at 12 but since then has walked away from the faith. He said he’d perform abortion if the life of the mother was in danger, or if it was a special baby. He’s been reading Harari’s book Sapiens, and has been brain washed to think we are just an advanced form of ‘animals’, so doesn’t think humans are special. My heart sank. I’ve been praying for T to come back to his Creator, and stop believing in this secular rubbish. May he understand the sanctity of human life, starting from the womb, and will never never perform abortion! Please please please pray 🙏 I’m so desperate. I’ve been praying for 7 years and keep banging at heaven’s door.

What no doctor tells girls and women is that it is natural for a time when hormones are getting situated to not want to be pregnant even if the pregnancy was planned. It passes. That awful feeling goes away and women will abort many times during that period of time.

"I JUST THROW AWAY D CHILD/BABY" IS THE Major root cause: everyday HUNDREDS OF children listen to their mothers and aunts say that they killed their baby brother or sister. Who is this child not to also become a 'killer' when they have heard their role model do that to their own flesh and blood

I was very involved in the pro life movement years ago but it was so heartbreaking, so soul destroying with the lack of progress and abortion statistics so high all the time. I think the aborted babies go to heaven. Imagine saving one from abortion, they live their lives and then go to hell! I'm more into trying to spread the gospel now

Forever young, I understand. I went thru burnout also. Even working in PRCs and seeing many homeless pregnant women was stressful. I now am involved in chastity education based on the Bible.

@@foreveryoungnzthanks. You might be interested in a video series called Pro Life Team Podcast hosted by Jacob Barr . he has hundreds of interesting interviews with many aspects of the movement. I can’t seem to finish listening to this interview. I don’t know why. Too burned out, I guess. This host refers to pro life people in the 1970’s as conservative. Back then all Catholics and Christian young people were mainstream and pro life. No one used words like conservative. It was normal.
My son was born at a Cornell affiliate hospital 52 years ago a few months before Roe was legalized. The doctor had invented the IUD. I was a married grad student wife of a Veteran. Happy to be having a baby and embarking on our lives together. The doc did not want any pregnant women to be seen in his waiting room.
I returned for my postpartum checkup with my newborn baby and husband. He was horrified and whisked them out to the back door. That child-hating doctor should only know what a fine person that beloved child grew to be. I can’t torment myself by hearing testimonies like this lady doc anymore. 41:31

I had a friend that had her first child in her 40s. She was pushed to have genetic testing because of her age. So of course they found something wrong with her child. They werent like 100percent specific. But all the Drs recommended abortion. She had one of the smartest children ive ever seen..She has aspergers. And she was ahead on learning, talking, understanding. She was maybe a bit clumbsy. But she was off charts on size. Her dad is 6'9. I cannot get over they suggested abortion.

Every father who abandons his pregnant woman is the same as her getting an abortion.
