I just finished my rewatch a month ago and lo and behold, watching this makes me want to start a third watch. It's such a perfect sell and editing on a such a truly spectacular show!
Decided to rewatch this as I was struck, once again, with the desire to rewatch this show… but I’ll be holding off for now, until the OFFICIAL ENGLISH BLU-RAY RELEASE arrives. I’m so pleased that it’ll be getting a release and dub, and hopeful that with it will come a new audience for this wonderful show.

I have resisted watching this AMV again until I finished the anime and I watched the entire thing within a week. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful story with me and amazing AMV.

my hearto can not handle this, the amv is a gives me those happy vibes, also when u synced "living like a diamonds" and girls seassick on the ship that line seems sarcastic.
This is an amazing amv, the transitions are perfect, and the music seems to be a prefect fit. I like to watch amv's to kinda get a general vibe to a show before I watch it and this vids definitely convinced me its worth the watch. keep it up

Can't say exactly, but if you say that's the op, well, in blu-ray releases there are creditless versions of openings and endings, it's the norm for every series, and you can just download and use them without having to worry about titles and other things on-screen.

Considering the youngest person to have skied to the South Pole was 16, I wouldn't call something like this disrespectful. The anime does its best to present the situation in as realistic of a way as possible, and yes the environment is harsh, but they don't live exposed to the elements out there. Of course, things can happen, like I said, the environment is harsh but the anime handles the subject well.
Antarctica is actually a place that can be visited comercially by any people iirc. But you need to be with expedition crew. Just like what in the anime did..
If it's done the way you just said so , it won't be a hit in japan . As a studio which has worked on many shows that became a hit in west but not in japan , they know what to do.
