Terrestrials are too cool. I rarely throw any of the smaller fries anymore and just wait for hopper season 🤫🤷♂️🤣 There’s a meadow stream that is the headwaters of the south yuba river by me that has a healthy population of brook trout. Mostly all fairly small but I love fishing yellow hoppers with a 2wt when the grass is tall. So fun. Hope you’re doing well. Happy new year!
@Callaweginflyfishing I have a fairly small lake around the corner from my house, put the drift raft in during the winter and catch huge yellow perch. I guide fly fishing so spend way to much time on trout when I should be catching panfish for the freezer.

I love brook trout. The upper Wise River in Montana if full of them.
Very nice looking topwater. I'm sure it will bring up the big ones.
I think so too

Looks like you got it all on there except the fish 🐟! 😂
Watch the fishing videos for that. Thanks!
Nice tie, won't be long before the gills and crappie will be shallow here.
John, Yea I can't wait. Winter is fine for trout, but I need to fill my freezer with some bluegill.

I remember catching yellow perch when I lived back east as a kid. Like you, I prefer pan fish for the freezer.
