So because of recent changes some of the things in the video might not be as strong, but the synergy between talents still exist just to a lesser degree Retribution Activating Crusade applies 4 Dawnlights onto nearby allies or enemies. Activating Avenging Wrath applies 2 Dawnlights onto nearby allies or enemies. Activating Radiant Glory applies 1 Dawnlight onto a nearby ally or enemy. With this change the max number of dawnlights changes to: Using Crusade max 6 Using Avenging Wrath 4 Using Radiant Glory 3 +1(If you get an rng proc)
@@LightbladeGaming looks like the build last night changed some paladin talent stuff too? consecration from blade of justice as a default seems awesome edit nevermind it seems like expurgation/blade of justice aoe has been massively nerfed..
yes im just waiting to see if they do any nerfs/buffs, because they made a change to herald just as i uploaded that video, dont want to make the same mistake for templar
damm i missed that change they put on yesterdays patch notes, i already had the video scheduled for today thats unfortunate, thx for pointing it out ill pin a comment to clarify
Hmm it seems like Herald will have more overall damage but if you specifically NEED that one guy to die, youll go Templar. Hammer of Light is a giant "fuck whoever is directly in front of me, right now" kind of priority damage feel. Where as Herald seems like over the course of a dungeon or fight itll be more overall damage.
@@LightbladeGaming cool, I wasn't able to do many dungeons to try them both out so I'm glad it feels that way to you too. Having different play styles will nice instead of ONLY having DS for aoe and FV for st.
idk i think Templar needs alot of work and attention to catch up with herald of the sun in goodness my biggest hope for the talents is less dead talents and one shoe fits all builds so sick of that
Yeah Templar looks a bit lackluster compared to Herald but blizz will balance them out, they just did a nerf yesterday that sliped by me, making dawnlights spawn less with radiant glory there is still a lot of Beta time and tunning they will do

Actually trying both Herald and Templar and i can say theyr matching each other maybe Templar sometimes is actually better then herald test it out
Awesome video as always mate! Just happy to see that Ret Pally is still a solid spec for The War Within
Thx for the support Jtrap
I dont seem to get 4+ lines linked to me when i wake of ashes and get wings, just seems to do the 1 from the finisher?
Sadly they nerfed it a bit ago now, it gives 1 line with radiant glory talent, 2 lines with one minute wings and 4 lines with crusade

yes im just waiting to see if they do any nerfs/buffs, because they made a change to herald just as i uploaded that video, dont want to make the same mistake for templar

@@LightbladeGaming another nerf came to it, its rly not worth using now,.
do we get enough points to get all hero talents?
yes. At Lv. 80 you will have all hero Talents
yes at max level the only choices you have to make are on double nodes
nice

your totally right Templar is mainly singletarget/priority damage with some cleave while Herald is AOE and some single target damage tools

What’s your tmog
not actually using any tmog just some tier pieces and crafter blacksmith stuff to fix my stats a bit

Then it summoned those 4 lines and I'm like, wtf, so unimpressingly ugly I refused to use it based on its aesthetics.
It's not op so it's not good anymore😂
sadly yeah most of the power of herald is now on the divine storm buff talents rather then the herald specific stuff but still good
