This kind of weather ants are looking for water. We use Borax in a lid of some sort around the tires , hitch and were ever anything touches the ground . I would be very careful with any kind of sprays on the roof or and seal area because chemicals are damaging to rubber. Glad your day ended well and everyone is happy 😊
Val, Here’s something that may or may not be of interest or help to you when you are camping but I will share it just in case. It would be for when you don’t feel like going to the showers when camping. I am sick and there are some things I struggle doing for myself any longer. Showering is one of my biggest challenges. I found some no rinse body wash/shampoo that actually does what it claims to do. It is called Scrubz. It comes in square wash cloths and you just put them in water and they lather up. I just started wetting my hair and scrubbing my scalp. Felt so good! I toweled it dry and there was no stickiness on my scalp (or my body either as I took a complete bath). No residue like in the dry shampoo that you spray on. It absolutely worked and has made a big difference in my life’s challenges. Btw, my first time to shampoo with Scrubz my hair was 2 weeks dirty. I was miserable. I scrubbed it good but only lathered it up one time. My hair was soft and felt great. I thought this might be of interest on days when you just don’t feel like going to the shower house. Bless each of you! While watching your video I kept thinking of roasting wieners. Almost burnt is the way I like them. Sounds good to me still. ❤
We always sprinkle ant stuff on the hitch and around the tires. Anything that touches the grounds. We got ants in the camper and it was a job getting rid of them!
