Hi Esi, thank you for this wonderful video. I have a question please, in other to strengthening my profile I did 25 online courses. Since you said we should limit our cv to three pages, how do you suggest I show this certificates on my CV ?
Hi 👋 Thanks for watching. I want to assume that not all of them would be related to one particular program you maybe applying for. So first, try to cross out the irrelevant ones to a program(which I’m sure would reduce the number). Then maybe out of the most relevant ones , I suggest you pick the most current ones ( coz mostly online courses get updated). Also, select out of the relevant ones possibly ones with certifications. And I’ll suggest at most 5 online courses, except your CV is so scanty that they help to make it heavier. Hope this helps.
@@esi_seguwa thank you very much for your response. Actually all are related but like you advice I will put the most recent. Is it advisable to put a link to maybe a google drive at the bottom of my CV where other certificates can be viewed?
Hi, thanks for watching. If it’s online certifications you can put it under additional information section then subhead it - certifications and training.. so you can list them separately.
Hi Esi, this video has been super helpful! Thank you so much. I have a question about the recommendation section of the Europass CV. After filling in my referee's details (name, role, email, etc.), there's a part for a description. Should I write this description in my referee's words, or should I leave it blank for them to fill? I'd appreciate your guidance🙏🏼
hey thank you so much for the guideline, I want to ask is just naming the online courses enough, or also brief the skills learnt in each online course? Moreover, like for example i have 9 relevant online courses mentioning about each of them in lom or cv would take much space so how to effectively showcase like what skills I have developed from them
Hello, am think expanding on all 9 will be a lot so these are some suggestions; 1. Focus on the most relevant courses (e.g., top 3-4) and describe the key skills you gained from each. 2. Lastly, maybe consider grouping similar courses together and describing the collective skills gained from them. (Also in straightforward points) Hope this helps.
Good tips 💪🏾

Honestly, I think them viewing all 25 online courses will be a lot. So I’m suggesting you put up at most 5 like I said. ( most relevant ones)
Your first language is normally your mother tongue or the language you are introduced to first in your country.
Thank you very much, Esi.
Hi Esi, thank you so much for the video. It is very helpful, I have a question, in which section of the cv should I mention online courses taken?

Hey, I don’t think a description is needed. Any other extra information will be in the recommendation letter.
Thank you so much for your feedback, Esi. I'll go ahead and leave the description out. I really appreciate your assistance.

@@esi_seguwa Thank you so much! It highly helped to clear my query
Please do you have a template? I can’t export my cv after creating it on the europass website
Hey, I don’t have the template for that CV anymore. Hopefully you were able to export it at this point.
