Sure, I'll take any suggestions into consideration! And I don't have a Patreon, I do have a Ko-fi however if that is something that would interest you. In the future I may make one. (:
I use a Blue Yeti USB Microphone for recording, and it's pretty good at picking up noises, there's a little knob for turning the gain up and another for switching between different settings (cardioid, stereo, etc), it's around $120 USD or so on Amazon. I hope you can get that recording for your friend done! ♡

Sorry if my last reply was more of a ramble ^^;

You should probably make references to folklore if you do mythology, like names, locations and so on just for a small touch to kinda send people to check out what something is, and references to other characters or events for world building ^^ it’ll be a nice thing for people to piece together, can also used small sounds for a comedy effect like a ‘wooden door squeaking open’ sound effect for a dryad to stretch back.
A compression of the sound would probably be best for the video as it’ll kinda keep the sound from getting too high in pitch.
If you’re interested in making an golem, robot or A.I video I can make a whole lot of references and notes to take into consideration ^^ I’m kinda getting a few projects in the concept stage and seeing how it works out; currently trying to find some modders I know to see if they have suggestions for programs or anything like that, or I’ll go with the ‘tower of duck-tape’ approach I do with most things.
I can’t really request videos directly or else I’ll feel kinda like dead weight ^^;

I’m thinking of recording my leeches on the recorder to see how they react and if the sounds they make.
@@silent_stalker3687 Thanks for the info in your last post, it was really interesting to read and I most likely will do some kind of folklore/mythology stuff in the future! A robot or A.I. roleplays sounds cool too. You definitely seem like the person to go to for this haha. As for the Blue Yeti, I don't believe that it is waterproof at all. I would definitely not recommend putting it in water 😦 I actually don't know of any specifically waterproof microphones myself, although I'm sure there are plenty out there. I'm also curious to know what kind of noises leeches would make. 🤔

I know a bit about some folklore and mythology- I’ve been waiting for a ‘wasp and demon’ Asmr video X3 seen things of different types, angles and demons, vampires and so on, but never wasps; as they say ‘wasps can make profane things sacred’
I’ve had some pet wasps before and actually managed to sneak up on one while it was making a nest, it actually did a quick panic jump, flail, and then I stared laughing at it... it then stared at me for a moment before buzzing its wings. I closed the door and basically noped out of there. Did you know if you give wasps colored paper they make colored nests? ^^
Not quite sure where the wasp thing came from, it’s kinda hard to find some mythology and may have been mistranslated, also wasps actually recognize faces ^^ so the wasps were aware of me and recognized me, they were okay with me and I even ended up feeding them >w<
They kinda just make pooping noise ‘plopping ears Asmr’ X3
The closest I’ve gotten to hearing that was when they were on my hands and baffled as to what my fingernails were a ‘this isn’t what I was climbing on’ moment, she then ended up being so freaked out she ended up flipping herself over and fell off my hand, I caught her thankfully ^^ I have a few videos of her uploaded, the most recent two being of her reaction to sand, with a small list in the comments of what happened following her encounter of he and an how she’s been getting used to it and her in the sand
I just checked out the blue yeti and it seems good ^^ I’ll probably put it in a cup and record the leeches plopping over it
