    I’m having issues with accommodation because they are asking for a guarantor and I don’t have any. It’s either this or I pay 3months upfront and that’s ridiculous.

    • @UnikJane
      @UnikJane  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Talk to your admission coordinator or whoever you are in contact with and ask if you can use them as your guarantor.

    Hi Unik, this was super informative. For the application, we were asked for our ID(Passports), i-20, and admit letters from the university, along with the security deposit/broker fee. I wanted to make sure it was all legit as I cannot find much information on the internet about that. We went through a real estate company to find this house. Thank you!

    • @UnikJane
      @UnikJane  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you should first connect with a student in the school to help you check out the house. There are a lot if scammers out there

    What if your school doesn’t recommend an accommodation like Houston community college . Is it a good idea to book a room and get approved for visa ?

    • @UnikJane

      Please don’t go paying for a room when you have not gotten visa.

    • @UnikJane

      Please wait until you have everything, including visa before paying for accommodation.

    Hi Jane please help me.. in the "who will sponsor your trip" section, (ds160) I selected "self" because I thought they were asking about the flight expenses. But I just realized they were asking about tuition and accomodation. What can I do now?

    • @miriamwangechi_

      @kwesifelixboafo5333 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you have enough time, you can cancel the first ds 160 and fill new one. But if you dont have time, you leave it like that.
      On your F1 form who is sponsoring you?
