    I'm gonna try that y2k on my next pole set project, instead of lugging those 80 pound sacks of ready mix. 👍💯✌

      I tried a bag of it for my eco worthy tracker and Using the same method as Tony my pipe in the ground wasn't very solid an hour later. So I dug it out and replaced with regular cement.

      I’ve done my 12’ gate and pole barn with it. It’s awesome. I hope I never have to use concrete again

      Maybe I got a bad batch.. Hmm..? The cost isn't anything to shout about, but the weight saving and mixability is almost worth it..

      My pole barn, greenhouse, fence and my solar trackers have all gone through 80mph winds. Still holding strong.

      Manual calls for 24x24x28 pad. Wore myself out mixing 19 bags of ready mix but I guarantee that pole isn't going anywhere!

    Tony run the welder a little hotter to increase weld penetration and a little more angle and focus on the root of pieces being to be joined.

      I know you are right! I could be a decent welder if I trained. I understand the process, but I suck at it now! 😁

    Watched your video and immediately ordered our kit. They had a $100 off coupon which made this a steal. Shipped and had it on the doorstep in 3 days. We are making our ground mount this week and love the way you did yours. Curious as to what size plate you used?

    Hi Tony, if it is windy (50 miles), do your solar panels retract or position in a certain way to avoid to be damaged ?

    i like all your video, do you have one of cleaning hydraulic rear remote? bought new branson 2515 in 2022 tried to use the rear remote it has 4 plug in and one half of one set don't work , can not find this break down in video? thanks , i usely watch videos on roku youtube reason i don't give thumbs up or make comments on your video's.

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  ปีที่แล้ว

      There's not really much to do on the rear remotes. If you are pulling the lever and nothing is happening, most likely the linkage is loose.

    Building a solar farm are ya.? One of my 400w panels is going bad and so the tracker only has 1 400 watt panel on it now. Am in Texas now then going up to NY. Don't know when I'll be back home but then I will Adjust some of the voltages and then put One of my other good 400w panel ib place of it. Looks like I need to invest into some 200 or 250w panels to put on mine to get more than 1kw a day from it.

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I hope you got it replaced. I am looking to upgrade my panels now I know what I am doing a little more. My first system was a good training tool.

      @@TonysTractorAdventure @TonysTractorAdventure Not yet. I think I want to maximize the panels on it with 200 W panels.. 6 of them. Right now Just 1 400 W panel on the tracker is receiving more than the other 2 on the ground. I was in New York this morning and today it's Pennsylvania On my way to North Carolina. I would love to capture the sunrise from a North Carolina truck stop if I can. Learning curve both of us.. haha..

      @@TonysTractorAdventure Well.. I got home on tuesday.. and yesterday the UPS truck arrived. My six 200w bi-facials panels arrived. So I got them all on just before sunset tonight.. but need a couple more branch connectors to connect the last 3 panels to the controller. For some strange reason.. even with one of the panels connected, my controller didn't like something.. and got an error code.."Err 38, Err 39 and Err 80 to Err 87 - PV Input shutdown". So.. I got the last side panel on.. but discovered I need to loosen all of the panels and shift them about 3'4 of an inch. Then do some cable management and still need to tweak the voltages a bit. It doesn't go flat when the sun sets.. and lower the morning voltage as well. On the 2nd array.. I connected 4 of the 6 290 panels and they got 2.5KWh today.. need more connectors to add the last 2 panels. So.. 1200w on the tracker and 1190w on the ground. Oh.. I found someone local on Craigslist selling one of these trackers. Still in the box.. 6 months old.. for $400.

    Do you like the posthole digger on the front better? It looks like it might be harder to hit the target and might need a second person to help? How do you compare your welding helmet to those that are solar powered at HF? I didn't know they took batteries.

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  ปีที่แล้ว

      The welding helmet has a solar strip, but it was locked up in a dark place until this use. I guess that killed the battery. It worked perfect after I used it.

      I am a little close due to the space I was in and the height I built them. I would recommend 30-35ft apart.
