Before 1960 Lahol and Spiti was a separate district . That time Lahol district headquarter was Kadrang and Spiti district headquarter was Dankar . In 1960 Government merge both these districts and it became Lahol and Spiti .

After atal tunnel Lahoul ke dusre valley ka zikar nhi kiya jo ki behad famous aur adventurous h. Koksar 7Km,Rohtang pass 25 km, chandartal lake 75km, hamta pass trek 30 Km gramphu 14km,chhatru 27km,baatal 65km,longest glacier chhota shigri and bda shigri.treking chandartal to baralacha.Lake samundri Tapu.
Roads are nice nd clean... It's request plz DNT throw garbage on road.keep clean road wherever you go 🙏
