Even though he let himself go physically, similar to how Master Roshi allowed himself to get old by neglecting training that would’ve kept him in his prime, for many years. Raditz - 1,200. Goku had a power level @ 5,000 in other world, long b4 he went Earth & powered up to his max. After Goku reaches the end of his training, King Kai said something like this, “you have mastered the Kaio-Ken, I have nothing more to teach you.” Also referencing the Spirit Bomb, apart of Goku’s adept level at utilizing the techniques. We all know Goku did not fully master the higher grades of the Kaio-Ken til his intense training en route to Namek. Therefore it is highly implied that Goku @ 5,000 already surpassed King Kai himself. This would mean King Kai would have a power level at or around 4,400. On Earth Goku’s Maximum Base form Power Level was revealed to be “Over 8,000!!” (8,200). Bcuz King Yemma beat Raditz (1,200), but was still weaker than King Kai, King Yemma had to have a p.l. half as strong as King Kai, at the very least. King Kai created the powerful techniques.. The Kaio-Ken & The Genki-Dama (Spirit Bomb) yet, based on his inner dialogue, it is revealed he himself did not Master his own techniques. Why? It can simply be surmised that he was not strong enough. Obviously so bcuz he is very weak in the hierarchy of power. In both mortal realm & The Divine realm. Even so, it was always his dream to find a pupil he found worthy enough to not only increase they’re own power level, but master the two Divine Techniques he himself created.

The Knight Patriot I like that idea.. however in the Dragon Ball world the plot is very sound in mind, as well as distinctively easy to follow. The problem is interesting side characters rarely ever get explored nor drawn out to get a better feel for they’re part in the story. An interesting tidbit, Master Roshi did not catch up to The Z fighters. The Frieza Arc, One Hundred Millions place value. The Cell Arc, One Hundred Billions place value. The Buu Arc, Exceedingly High One Hundred Billions place value. The only Z fighter Master Roshi is legitimately & overwhelmingly stronger than is Chaotzu. In truth, that is no big feat, bcuz Chaotzu was “always” the weakest Z fighter in every arc of DBZ even in DB. The only reason why Roshi was brought up in Resurrection f, is bcuz the fans wanted Roshi over Yamcha. Which confused me bcuz Yamcha is more than strong enough to handle any DBZ level threat. I’m grateful Roshi is back, but I was pissed they put Yamcha on the sideline for a much weaker character. It goes to show, Yamcha has been purposely been wronged for years. No other character has been more disrespected, disregarded and joked about. Even tho he’s had misfortune following him, Yamcha has never stopped training to get stronger throughout the entire DB series.

Yemma and KK are so close to each other. I’m kinda curious if they fused. Their look, their duties, and their power. Aren't olibu and pikon king kai's students as well? As well as countless others. Aren't all the people king kai introduces goku to from north galaxy? Making them his students.
I heard somewhere that those who become kais are usually choosen at birth. And that when they reach a certain age or power level, they are brought to the world of the kais to train and become one. Kinda like Gohan during the Buu saga.
