….grabbed a pair of pads for a 23’ FishPro Same situation, in fact 95% of double sided adhesive came right off with the protective sheet!! Attempting to save the day with Marine JBWeld?? We’ll see
Was it cheaper to buy these aftermarket? I’ve been wondering if it’s worth buying it fully loaded or adding my own things after, like gps, speakers, and knee pads
Carson. I know the Limited model comes with the knee pads as factory stock and likely a few others. There was not much difference between having the speakers come from the factor vs buying and installing separately from a cost point of view but it is most certainly cheaper to install parts such as these yourself if they don’t come from the factory with them. Drive your ski for a season and then decide what you think you might want to add. You can order them and install them in the off season by yourself.
the 3M 77 spray adhesive is the wrong product for this application but i would recommend using the 3M adhesion promoter wipes to clean the area where the double sided tape will apply to as it makes it stick so much better .. we use this in the bodyshop environment for anything we use double sided tape on and have seen it work much better then when we used to not use it and the tape would fail
Very nice thank you very much
Thanks for posting this up. That is a nice addition to the FP body. Glad that there are so many aftermarket people making things we can add.
Nice job! Thanks for a great explanation. Do you think this could be attached without drilling any holes? Adhesive only? Your thoughts? Thanks!

Did my Seadoo and found adhesion promoter makes it stick much better and it’s not going to come off.
