Great video. Thanks for sharing your experience of the bike. I have had a 2017 Z1000SX from new and enjoyed lots of European tours on it. This new Suzuki is definitely catching my eye as candidate for my next bike. I’m a long-standing very happy customer of Sportsbikeshop and I never realised until now that you are on TH-cam. I’ll subscribe straight away! Thanks again and keep up the great work
I still have my 2016 Gsx S1000f and I absolutely have fallen in love with it and will probably never get rid of it, unless i were to trade it in for this newer GT model. I've had no issues with it since day one. It handles like a dream and is so comfortable to go on long rides. I do not use it for sport touring, that requires carrying luggage for a trip. But, i can ride it all day long without issues physically. It's a great bike and i have no doubts, that the GT is even better. By the way, it hauls ass to when adding a PC5 and flash. I LOVE the GSXS1000 (all models). The riding position is perfect oh and did i mention IT HAULS ASS with that K5 engine.
So not much heat at the knees ya despite the searing summer temperature. 👍👍 I have watched and read quite a lot of reviews. Most complained about (i) hard seat (ii) pillion seat area/shape.
I didn't have an issue with heat at the knees, and I didn't find the seat hard either. I didn't test the pillion seat, but it doesn't appear to be the most sumptuous around. Cheers, Tony
Because they ran the exhaust and cat converter under the bottom to meet European emissions standards. I don't mind not having a center stand, if I need to I use a pit stand for maintenance, problem solved.
@@blandrooker6541 I could probably live without it but given this is a sports tourer a centre-stand would be nice if doing high-mile rides. Not sure how it could be made to fit without changing the pipes though.
One of the last true sports tourers still being made at a reasonable price. I love mine!

I wowned both and ridden back to back with my k6 the engine is no where near as strong, mine was flashed with a full system
No heated grips, no centre stand, no option for comfort seat? Amazing
all available. Sergeant saddles makes a great upgraded saddle. Center stand is available from trex. Heated grips available from factory.
Oh that's good to hear, thanks for info, I'll definitely have a look👍
And you own what?

how will it look after a British winter time will tell
ACF-50 will help. Ask how I know :)
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Stick to your Fazer mate.
Not worth your upgrade unless you choose a totally different bike or your a suzuki fan
or this is a really good bike and he wants to upgrade.
I just wish Suzuki would bite the bullet and start offering electronic suspension on their models. And why is there no centre stand Suzuki?

It's so poorly put together and cheap, I'd get the Ninja 1000
What makes you say that? It's not something that has been mentioned in any review I've seen.

I have one. I’ve got no issues with it.
I also got one. It is a very good bike.
That’s an interesting way of telling the world you have no idea what you’re talking about.
