Haven't you seen the video If you are in Australia nothing happens, if you are outside Australia will not be able to come back in and less it is renewed it is just a travel capacity associated towards your Visa

This sounds like your Resident Return Visa is about to expire; it depends on your circumstances whether you can have this extended.
Is it true that an RRV return only needs to stay for 3 years for citizenship from time arrival because you're considered 12 months as legal absence?
