The Jews rejected the message and our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and tried to kill him by breaking their treaty during the battle of the Trench.
The Arabs of Yathrib didn’t just accept the message they also accepted our Prophet Muhammad and they became his companions like Abu Ayub Al Ansari and many others.

@@jiqbal1uk Brother, read between the lines. The Jews knew and still today know that the message of Islam is a true message but they don't accept Muhammad because he was not a Jew. The pagan Arabs, his enemies called Muhammad "al-Amin" even during persecution because they couldn't do anything but acknowledge he is a truthful person. But the message of tawhid offended their gods and their ancestors and they coudn't accept it.
This is the meaning, I'm not saying no Arab and no Jew became Muslim.

Remember Muhammed pbuh prayed towards Juraslem before he was instructed to pray towards Mecca. The reason why is because of the arrogance of the Jews that also existed even then around the last messanger.
You think you would learn after rejecting one prophet to do it a second time 600 years later..... and when you think it can not get any worse the one they do finally accept will be a liar.
May Allah SWT protect us from the warning he has communicated to Muslims in the Quran of a forbidden alliance!

Jews already knew the prophet is going to be from the Ishmaelite, they didn't know from were he would come but they knew it's from the direction of Yemen, so they settled in Yathrib (Medina) and waited there till he comes to them, they thought just by settling there God will choose him to be one of them, and when they found out he's an Arab they disbelieved him, although half the rabbis of Medina accepted Islam later on.

All of the tribes in Medina originally came from Yemen. The ancients Jews lived in Yemen and there were about 2 exoduses from Yemen by jews.
The tribes settled in Yathrib after the exodus..
Edit: them being there doesn't have anything to do with them waiting for a prophet. Khudabiya had more jews than Medina at that time and they had date trees all over also.

They didn’t went Muhammad (PBUH) to Judge them on their treason and treachery. So They asked to be Judged by their own Rabies who gave the judgment of death for breaking their Allegiance.??

Deuteronomy 18:18 - The Prophet like Moses
    God revealed to Moses:
“I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him” (Deuteronomy 18:18).
Christian apologists have several issues when we try to indicate that this verse can only refer to Muhammad. Rhodes point out:
“First the term ‘brothers’ in this passage refers to Israelites, not to Arabs, who historically have been enemies of Israel. Elsewhere in Deuteronomy the term ‘brothers’ refers to fellow Israelites, not to foreign enemies. For example, God instructed the Israelites to choose a king ‘from among your brothers,’ not from among foreign enemies (Deuteronomy 17:15)…The reality is that there has never been an instance in the history of Israel in which a non-Jewish king was chosen to rule over a nation.”
Geisler and Saleeb echo the same message:
“It is clear that the term brethren means fellow Israelites. For the Jewish Levites were told in the same passage that ‘they shall have no inheritance among their brethren’ (v. 2)…why would God raise up for Israel a prophet from their enemies?”
Here is the prophecy transliterated from the Hebrew: Navi akeem lahem mikerev acheyhem komocha. Venatati devarai befiv, vediber alayhem et kol asher atsavenu. The word for brethren is acheyhem from the Semitic root ach. The Christian rebuttal can easily be defeated by familiarizing yourself with the lineage of Abraham (upon whom be peace).
Abraham’s grandson through Isaac was Esau, also known as Edom. Esau was the “progenitor of the Arab peoples,” an Arab! Is Rhodes correct when he says that elsewhere in the book of Deuteronomy the term “brothers” or “brethren” refers only to fellow Israelites? Let’s read Deuteronomy 23: 7/8:
“Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he [is] thy brother (ach): thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.” Deuteronomy 23: 7/8
Amazing, the Edomites (Arab progeny of Esau) are “brethren” (acheyhem) of the Israelites. Deuteronomy 2:4 says:
“And command thou the people, saying, Ye [are] to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore.”
    Deuteronomy 2:4
If the descendants of the brother of Jacob the son of Isaac are considered brethren to the Israelites, then how much more the descendants of the brother of Isaac the son of Abraham! Bottom line: The term “brethren” can be and is applied to both Jews (Israelites) and Arabs. What about King Herod the Great? You might be surprised to know that this King of Judea who reigned during the time the Baptist and Christ were born (Luke 1:5) was an Idumean, also known as an Edomite, an Arab! - Yet a Jew by religion. Although he was cruel and genocidal toward his brethren, he is most remembered for his splendid restoration of the Temple of Solomon. Is it really true that an Arab rebuilt the Jewish Temple? It certainly is. The son of Herod the Great surnamed Antipas married the daughter of Aretas, the King of Arabia. Let’s not also forget Moses, the great Lawgiver of Israel who married the daughter of Jethro, a Midianite Arab. Ask your Christian friend why he considers the Arabs and Israelis to be enemies when the Holy Prophet Moses, presumably the man who wrote Deuteronomy 18:18, himself bore children that were half Arab.
The prophecy also says that this great Prophet will be like Moses (upon whom be peace). Christians again claim that Jesus fits the description here. Rhodes quotes scholar Gerard Nehls who states that Moses and Jesus: a) had death plots initiated against them as infants b) were both authenticated by signs and wonders c) liberated their people from bondage either physically (Moses) or spiritually (Jesus) d) spoke to God and e) mediated the Old and New Covenants. The funny thing is, all of the above criteria with the exception of “a” fit the Prophet of Islam as well. Despite what Christian fundamentalists have claimed, Muhammad did perform many miracles, over 3,000 are mentioned in the books of traditions (See Chapter 7 for the truth about this). He spiritually, as well as physically liberated his people and released them from “their heavy burdens and from the yokes” that are upon them (Qur’an 7:157).
He also spoke with God while he was His guest on the night of Miraj in the seventh heaven. Allah tells us:
“For truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest” (Qur’an 53:18).
Finally, the Prophet Muhammad restored to the earth the true and original covenant that God made with Abraham and his first-born Ishmael. He is called “a covenant for the people” (Isaiah 42:6)
Finally, the Prophet Muhammad restored to the earth the true and original covenant that God made with Abraham and his first-born Ishmael. He is called “a covenant for the people” (Isaiah 42:6) and the “Messenger of the Covenant” (Malachi 3:1; Qur’an 3:81).
Ironically, no two prophets of God were ever as dissimilar as Jesus and Moses. Ask your Christian friend: “Do you not believe that Jesus is God? What about Moses? Do you not believe that Jesus committed suicide for the redemption of mankind? What about Moses? Do you not believe that Jesus descended into Hell? What about Moses? Do you not believe that Jesus wielded no sword? What about Moses? Do you not believe that Jesus is one of three in a Trinity, a triune god? What about Moses?” Even if all the dogma about the Christian Jesus was to be thrown out the window, he is still nothing like Moses yet Muhammad is. Dr. H.M. Baagil observes the following in his book Muslim/Christian Dialogue:

    The Qur’an also affirms this:
*Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)?” [Qur'an 26:197]*
*Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognise him [Muhammad] as they recognise their [own] sons.” [Qur'an 6:20]*
*And when there came to them a Book from Allah confirming that which was with them - although before they used to pray for victory against those who disbelieved - but [then] when there came to them that which they recognized, they disbelieved in it; so the curse of Allah will be upon the disbelievers. [Qur'an 2:89]*
It is worth quoting the commentary of a prominent scholar Abul A'la Maududi in his work Tafheem-Ul-Qur'an:
*Before the advent of the Prophet, the Jews were eagerly awaiting a Prophet whose coming had been prophesied by their own Prophets. In fact, the Jews used to pray for his advent so that the dominance of the unbelievers could come to an end and the age of their own dominance he ushered in. The people of Madina were witnesses to the fact that these same Jewish neighbours of theirs had yearned for the advent of such a Prophet. They often used to say: 'People may oppress us today as they wish, but when our awaited Prophet comes, we will settle our scores with our oppressors.'*
*Since the people of Madina had themselves heard such statements they were inclined to embrace the religion of the Prophet all the more readily lest their Jewish neighbours supersede them in acquiring this honour. It was therefore astonishing for them to find that when the promised Prophet did appear those same Jews who had so eagerly looked forward to welcoming him turned into his greatest enemies.*
*The statement 'and they recognized it' is confirmed by several contemporaneous events. The most authentic evidence in this connection is that of Safiyah, a wife of the Prophet, who was herself the daughter of one learned Jewish scholar (Huyayy b. Akhtab) and the niece of another (Abu Yasir). She says that when the Prophet migrated to Madina both her father and uncle went to meet him and conversed with him for quite a while. When they returned home, she heard the following conversation:*
*Uncle: Is he really the same Prophet whose advent has been prophesied in our Scriptures?*
    *Father: By God, he is.*
    *Uncle: Do you believe that?*
    *Father: Yes..*
*Uncle. Then what do you intend to do?*
*Father: I will continue to oppose him and will not let his claim prevail as long as I live.*
*(Ibn IshAq, The Life of Muhammad by A. Guillaume pp. 241)*
You can view it online here:
    www.islamicstudies.info/tafheem.php?sura=2&verse=87&to=96
The claim that Jewish tribes were awaiting the arrival of a Prophet in Arabia is further supported by writings such as the Secrets of Rabbi Simon ben Yohai, a Jewish apocalypse of the mid-8th century which presents a Judaic messianic interpretation of the advent of Islam.
It contains a positive endorsement of the mission of Muhammad and an affirmation of the divinely mandated role of the Arabs in saving the Jewish people from persecution:
*When he saw the kingdom of Ishmael that was coming, he began to say: ‘Was it not enough, what the wicked kingdom of Edom did to us, but we must have the kingdom of Ishmael too?’ At once Metatron the prince of the countenance answered and said: ‘Do not fear, son of man, for the Holy One, blessed be He, only brings the kingdom of Ishmael in order to save you from this wickedness. He raises up over them a prophet according to his will and will conquer the land for them and they will come and restore it in greatness, and there will be great terror between them and the sons of Esau.’ Rabbi Simon answered and said: ‘How do we know that they are our salvation?’ He answered: ‘Did not the Prophet Isaiah say thus: “And he saw a troop with a pair of horsemen, etc.”’*
*- John C. Reeve, Trajectories in Near Eastern Apocalyptic: A Post Rabbinic Jewish Apocalypse, pp. 10-11*
These statements provide a fascinating insight into an 8th century Rabbinic understanding of the conquests of the Muslims.
What this demonstrates is that early Jewish scholars were open to the idea of prophets emerging from among the Arabs, and we can see that some even interpreted sections of Isaiah as prophecies that have been fulfilled by the arrival of Muhammad.

Yes learned men of Israel were the given the test for Prophethood by God to judge between genuine and false Prophets:
*You may say to yourselves, "How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD?" If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him. [Deuteronomy 18:21-22]*
Prophet Muhammad passed this test with flying colors:
      th-cam.com/video/xZIqd_-1Zus/w-d-xo.html
By comparison, Paul failed this test as he made false prophecies about the Second Coming of Christ.
There are numerous statements made by Paul that shows that he believed the End was expected in his lifetime:
*We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. [1 Thessalonians 4:15-17]*
*And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. [Romans 13.11-12]*
*Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed- in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. [1 Corinthians 15:51-52]*
Perhaps the clearest of these is 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 where Paul states that “we will not all sleep”. Sleep here is a metaphor for death, so Paul is saying that not all of the believers in his day would die before the return of Jesus.
Obviously this is a false prophecy, as it has been 2,000 years since Paul wrote those words, and both the End times and return of Jesus still haven’t taken place.
In fact predominant New Testament scholars conclude that Paul and his followers expected the end of the world during their lifetimes.
For example, the New Testament scholar Professor C.K. Barrett wrote in his commentary on 1 Corinthians:
*‘Paul expects that at the parousia he himself will not be among the dead (of whom he speaks in the third person), but among the living (of whom he speaks in the first person). He expected the parousia within his own lifetime.’*
*-First Epistle to the Corinthians by C.K. Barrett, commentary on verse 52, page 381*
Even Jesus is guilty of making this false prophecy in the New Testament:
*For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done. I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom." [Matthew 16:27-28]*
Christian apologist C.S Lewis calls this "the most embarrassing verse in the Bible":
*“Say what you like,” we shall be told, “the apocalyptic beliefs of the first Christians have been proved to be false. It is clear from the New Testament that they all expected the Second Coming in their own lifetime. And, worse still, they had a reason, and one which you will find very embarrassing. Their Master had told them so. He shared, and indeed created, their delusion. He said in so many words, ‘this generation shall not pass till all these things be done.’ And he was wrong. He clearly knew no more about the end of the world than anyone else.”*
*“It is certainly the most embarrassing verse in the Bible.”*
*- C.S. Lewis, The World’s Last Night: And Other Essays, p.97*
Remodeling the pagan God of the Kaabah to Jewish God YHWH god of Abraham? Even Jews themselves acknowledge that we Muslims worship the same God.
      Rabbi Tovia Singer says:
*I just wanna say to Christians who say that Muslims do not worship the God of Abraham, when you say that to a Muslim you are making yourself look like a complete idiot and Muslims will laugh at you.*
      You can view it here:
      th-cam.com/video/dUyllD36MbM/w-d-xo.html
      Rabbi Chaim Mintz says:
*"We have the same God as the Arabs"*
      You can view it here:
      th-cam.com/video/nm12SOsgGlU/w-d-xo.html
That's why Rabbis permit Jewish people to pray Muslim places of worship in case no synagogue is available.
Rabbi Moses Maimonides, a leading authority in Jewish law, wrote the following with regards to Islamic concept of God:
*These Ishmaelites are not idol worshippers in the least, and paganism has long since cut off from their mouths and their hearts, and they worship the singular God properly and without any blemish"*
*- Maimonides' letter to Obadiah the Proselyte*
By comparison, Jewish people are forbidden from even setting foot inside Churches, Rabbi Maimonides has this to say about Christianity:
*"Know that this Christian nation, with all their many different sects, are all idol worshippers and all their holidays are forbidden, and we deal with them regarding religious issues as we would pagans"*
*- Commentary on Mishnah, Tractate Avoda Zara 1:3*
So according to Jews themselves Muslims are monotheists who worship the same God of Abraham whilst Christians are polytheists. Oh the irony.
This is because Christian Trinity has it's origins in paganism. This concept of three related divinities is an ancient phenomenon which is found in different pagan religions throughout history:
      en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triad_(religion)
It is true that Christian Trinity differs in it's final details when compared to these other cults. However, this basic concept of three related divinities is common to all of them and is fundamentally pagan.
Aristotle, who was a Greek philosopher from the 4th century BC, had this to say about the mystical significance of the number three:
*"Just as the Pythagoreans say, the whole and all things are delimited by the three; for end, middle, and beginning have the number of the whole, which is that of the triad. Wherefore, we use this number also in the worship of gods, taking it from nature, as a law of it." [On Heaven, Book I.I]*
Another belief that relates to Trinity among Christians is that Jesus is the incarnate Son of God who is said to possess two natures, one divine and one human.
This idea of a god-man hybrid is also fundamentally pagan. Greco-Roman world, from which Christianity emerged, was filled with tales of gods procreating with human women and begetting god-men.
For example, chief god in the Greek pantheon, Zeus, visited the human woman Danae in the form of golden rain and fathered Perseus, a god-man. Hercules, also the son of Zeus, is another example of a god-man.
Such stories strikingly resemblance the Christian concept of incarnation which teaches that God visited a human woman Mary in the person of Holy Spirit and fathered Jesus, a god-man.
In fact, an early Christian apologist Justin Martyr, considered a Saint in the Catholic Church, admitted that Christianity had borrowed it's concept of divine sonship from pagans:
*When we say that the Word, who is our teacher, Jesus Christ the first born of God, was produced without sexual union, and that he was crucified and died and rose again, and ascended to heaven, we propound nothing new or different from what you [pagans] believe regarding those whom you consider sons of Jupiter.*
*-Justin Martyr, The First Apology, Chapter 21*
Jupiter was the king of all gods in the ancient Roman mythology. Here Justin Martyr is telling Roman pagans that what the Christians believe about Jesus being the son of God is nothing different than what they believe about the sons of god Jupiter.
The Qur’an also confirms that those who believe that Jesus is the literal Son of God are imitating an ancient pagan concept:
*“...The Christians said, ‘The Messiah is the son of God’: they said this with their own mouths, repeating what earlier disbelievers had said...” [Qur'an 9:30]*
The early Church emerged in both a Jewish and Greco-Roman world and so Christians had to reconcile the pure monotheism they had inherited from Judaism with polytheism they have derived from paganism.
Gregory of Nyssa is a 4th century bishop who is venerated as a Saint in Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches. He wrote the following:
*For the truth passes in the mean between these two conceptions, destroying each heresy, and yet, accepting what is useful to it from each. The Jewish dogma is destroyed by the acceptance of the Word and by belief in the Spirit, while the polytheistic error of the Greek school is made to vanish by the unity of the nature abrogating this imagination of plurality.*
      *-Great Catechism, Chapter 3*
Here Gregory of Nyssa acknowledged that the Christian concept of God is neither purely the polytheism of the Greeks nor purely the monotheism of the Jews but rather a mixture of both. It's a paradox.
To summarise Christianity it is as if Abraham married to an idol. It's a forced marriage.
Finally, Qur'an warns Christians not to follow in the footsteps of those who have gone astray before you:
*Say, “O People of the Book! Do not go to extremes in your faith beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of those who went astray before you. They misled many and strayed from the Right Way.” [Qur'an 5:77]*

One of the clues given to the Jews about Yathrib (Madinah) being the city of the coming prophet was that it had lots of date palms.
Another was that it had black rocks on the ground leading to it. Anyone who has taken a road journey from Makkah to Madinah will notice the strange black rocks on the ground much of the way.

They knew the prophet would conquer it with a fiery law in his rigty with 10 thousand Saints as mentioned in the Bible. The exact same thing happened in the conquest of mekkah Subhanallah

"The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken" - (Deut. 18:15, KJV)
The prophet Muhammad started his message in Mecca, he didn't succeed. He went to Medina, the place where the Jews are, he succeeded, from the midst of the Jews, just like what the verse in Deut. says.
Muhammad is the prophet like Moses. Both received the message from God in a place, and then went to the Jews in a different place, in a foreign land.

Of course the Christians will disagree with this and say…
No this is talking about Jesus becuase Jesus and Moses are similar not Muhammad PBU them all.
But they need to realise that Muhammad SAW and Moses PBUH had a similar life compared to Jesus PBUH.
Moses and Muhammad were prophets later in life in life. Where as Jesus was a prophet when he came to earth.
Moses and Muhammad were orphans at a young age. Where as Jesus had Mary for his whole life.
Moses and Muhammad both were in involved in wars for their people. Where as Jesus wasn’t
Moses and Muhammad were both married and had kids. Where as Jesus didn’t.
There are even more points but these are some of the main ones.

      @Christianity and Islam are Parallel
      That is not relevant.
As Christians also don't believe thwt Jesus is a Prophet . They claim he is the Son of God ,
      God the Father, God the
      Holy Spirit, Son of Mary.
      the Mother of God.
      And JESUS Repudiates
      Christians as his followers
If they are not of the
      blood of ISRAEL (JACOB
      Son of ISAAC, Son of
      ABRAHAM). and calls them
SWINES, DOGS and Hypocrites from the
      SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN.

    • @abdillahijalalkhan2128

      @Christianity and Islam are Parallel
      Your Biblical knowledge,
      study of Jewish Scriptures
is mediocre. And so is your
      logic.
      Moses is similar to
      Muhammad as they both
      successfully freed their
      people from tyranny and
      lead them through Exile
      into new kingdoms,
      which Jesus failed and
      died executed by his
      victorious enemies.
      Moses and Muhammad
      were born of a human
      father.
      Muhammad was of the
      brethren of Moses, both
      coming from the progeny
of ABRAHAM, through his Sons ISHMAEL and ISAAC.
No one in his proper senses can claim that
      MOSES and JESUS were
      brethren as they were
both of the CHILDREN of ISRAEL, from the same Tribe.
      If you knew anything of
the Jewish religion or culture ,you would know that YEHWE and
      even JEHOVA is not the
      REAL name of the JEWISH
      GOD.
      The Jewish religion
      forbids Jews from
      publicly pronouncing the
      proper name of their God.
So they mostly refer to him as "He Who is". , in the
      Hebrew Script corresponding to YEHW.
      Which translated to the
      Greek and later English as
      JEHOVA.
      So you Christians up to
      the present day don't know
the real name of the GOD
      of the ISRAELIS, as HE
does not belong to you anyway.
But to give you a hint,
      listen to who JESUS was
      pleading to for help to
      save him from the
AGONY and HUMILIATION, of the Crucifixion, when
      he was virtually naked,
      thirsty, desiccated by the
Sun, his back torn by Roman Bull whips, he
      murmured the Name of his
LORD , CREATOR and MASTER who had sent him, In a plaintive, forlorn
      almost inaudible voice,
      " ELLAH, ELLAH, LAMA
      SABACHTANI?"
      Translated from
      ARAIMIC , the language of
      JESUS , the SEMITIC
      language akin to ARABIC,
      and not related whatsoever
      to the Biblical, LATIN
      GREEK or ENGLISH translations you
      are taught .
      "ALLAH, ALLAH, why
      have you forsaken me!"

Those to whom We gave the Scripture before it - they are believers in it.
And when it is recited to them, they say, "We believe in it; indeed, it is the truth from our Lord. Indeed we were, [even] before it, Muslims [submitting to Allah ]."
Those will be given their reward twice for what they patiently endured and [because] they avert evil through good, and from what We have provided them they spend.
And when they hear ill speech, they turn away from it and say, "For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. Peace will be upon you; we seek not the ignorant."
Indeed, [O Muhammad], you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided.
    (Al-Quran 28:52-56)
O you who have believed, fear Allah and believe in His Messenger; He will [then] give you a double portion of His mercy and make for you a light by which you will walk and forgive you; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
[This is] so that the People of the Scripture may know that they are not able [to obtain] anything from the bounty of Allah and that [all] bounty is in the hand of Allah ; He gives it to whom He wills. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty.

And believe in what I have sent down (the Quran) confirming that which is with you (the Torah), and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My signs for a small price, and fear Me (God).
    (Al-Quran 2:41-42)
O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and overlooking much. There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book.
By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path.
They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy the Messiah, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.
But the Jews and the Christians say, "We are the children of Allah and His beloved." Say, "Then why does He punish you for your sins?" Rather, you are human beings from among those He has created. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination.
O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger to make clear to you [the religion] after a period [of suspension] of messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And Allah is over all things competent.
    (Al-Quran translation 5:15-19)

The only thing that I'm curious about though is that of all the evidence we have of talmudic and even nestorian Christian writings at the time, there is no support for our version of events that they were waiting for a prophet/messianic figure in that specific time period and in that area. Technically the Jews at the time had been waiting a messiah since before Jesus.

      2) It's important to understand that the current OT and NT are not the only remnants of what was once part of the revelation. Or at least, what was once part of the knowledge of the Ahle Kitaab. The easiest example is the Deas sea scrolls from Qumran. This Jewish community had more 'books' in addition to the OT and we only know about this because their scrolls were preserved in caves and were found by blind luck. Hiw many more of such communities existed and what did they have from the knowledge ? If you look at the Seerah of the prophet, the jews are asking him questions 'that only a prophet would know'. How do they know those questions? Why do they ask him about the Soul, about Dhul Qarnain, about the resemblance of a child to which parent. None of these are in the Bible and yet, these were questions that were asked by the people around Muhammad (saws). Also note the story of Salman the Persian (RA). His teachers explicitly told him that no one follows their version of Christianity anymore and gave him signs to identify the prophet. The acceptance of dying of this form of Christianity is a clue that there were many versions of Jewish and Christian faith that were being practiced which eventually died out. Modern Scholarship would agree with that as well. Another point to note is the existence of minority faiths like Samaritans, Yazidis, Mandaeism, and Druze. Their theology suggests that their origin is coming from the Islamic line of prophets but obviously has been corrupted. And yet, they have remnants of knowledge that is not found in the Bible.
This is a fascinating topic but it is quite clear to me that the previous scriptures that we do have contain numerous references to Muhammad (saw) and Islam and also that there were most likely to be more references that we no longer have with us. And Allah knows best.

From recent lexical analysis of the quranic text it appears that what is referred to as "muhammad" in the quran (which means "the praised one") is not a name but a title which refers to Jesus, as the prophet and messiah.
So early muslims in the quran (not yet called muslims but "mumineen" ie. " believers") were in fact anti-trinitarian christians who accepted Jesus as revered prophet and messiah but rejected his divine nature (this is why in the quran Jesus is always called "Issa ibn Meryam" ( عِيسَى إِبْنُ مَرْيَم ) ie. "Jesus son of Mary", but never "son of God")

in fact the Jews of medina were expecting a prophet to be sent in 610 AD. in Arabia according to the scriptures , but when he came and he was not a Jew they refused to accept him.
I heard it from Jewish scholars on TH-cam, how they were waiting for a prophet in 610 Ad based on prophesies in the bible , and with some research, it would be interesting to find it again.

      *Blessing of Ishmael*
God in the Bible asserts the blessing of Ishmael’s descendants in more than one verse as shown:
Genesis 17:20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you : behold, *I have blessed him,* and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
Genesis 17:7 And I will establish my covenant *between me and you and your seed* after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto you and to your seed after you.
Genesis 21:13 And also of the son of the handmaid will I make a nation, *because he is your seed.*
Genesis 21:17 And God heard the voice of the lad. And the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth you , Hagar? Fear not. For God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Gen 21:18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in your hand. For I will make him *a great nation.*
*What does a blessing of Ishmael mean?*
As we see here, God in the Bible is talking about Ishmael being blessed, and that he will have a great nation. According to the Bible, a blessing means prophecy among his descendants. For example if we looked at Genesis 27 at the story when Jacob took the blessing from Esau and its result, we would realize prophets were raised from Esau’s descendants, but many prophets were raised from Isaac’s seed. And Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was raised from Ishmael’s descendants who are the brothers of Israel as the Bible tells in Deuteronomy 18:18.
Someone might say that this prophecy was fulfilled in the verse which says that Ishmael shall have 12 sons as in Genesis 25:13-14. Actually if the blessing was just regarding descendants, then actually Esau had two great nations as well, not only the Edomites as mentioned in the Bible, but also the Romans as mentioned in the Talmud, and the greatness of the Roman empire is well known to everybody. So it’s clear here that the blessing is not related to a fruitful nation, otherwise we would have seen Esau blessed as well, but a blessing rather means that a great prophet shall come from Ishmael’s descendants.
*Isn’t the covenant of God established with Isaac only?*
It might be said that the covenant is with Isaac only as the Bible says:
Genesis 17:21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear unto you at this set time in the next year.
Well, this was in the beginning, then it was transferred to Ishmael’s descendants, Jesus said to the Jews that the kingdom of God shall be taken away from them:
Matthew 21:43 therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
Calling Ishmael as a fruitful, that he shall have a great nation is very clear in praising him, otherwise, if God knew that a false prophet came from his descendants where a great nation followed him, why did He describe this nation to be great?
Also the nation Jesus told here doesn’t mean the Christian nation, God said that the sign of the covenant between him and the descendants of Abraham shall be the circumcision, which should be one of the fruits of the kingdom of God:
Geesisn 17:10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee: *every male among you shall be circumcised…* 13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an *everlasting covenant.* 14 And the uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, *that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.*
So it clearly tells that the sign of this covenant is circumcision, this covenant is everlasting and that the one who don’t circumcise breaks God’s covenant, which Muslims already do while according to Christians , Paul cancelled circumcision. Muslims are the real followers of Abraham. The Bible says:
Genesis 12:3 and I will bless them that bless you, and him that curseth you will I curse: and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
Muslims bless Abraham at least 5 times a day in their prayer. At the end of every prayer, a Muslim must say:
“O Allah! send your Salat (Blessings, Graces, Honors and Mercy) on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as *You sent Your Salat on Abraham and the family of Abraham.* O Allah! Send Your Blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as *You sent Your Blessings on Abraham and the family of Abraham.* You are Praiseworthy, Most Gracious.”
So if Muslims bless Abraham, the Bible says that God blesses who bless him, how come the followers of a false prophet be blessed by God?

Qumranites/Essenes a separatist Jewish sect from Second Temple period (200 B.C.E. - 70 C.E.) were awaiting a prophet to emerge.
He is mentioned in the Manual of discipline.
“And they shall not depart from any counsel of the law to walk in all the stubbornness of their heart, but they shall be governed by the first ordinances in which the members of the community began their instruction, until the coming of the prophet and the anointed ones of Aaron and Israel.”
This texts mentions three distinct figures. A prophet, a Messiah of Aaron (priestly Messiah) and a Messiah of Israel (kingly messiah) (King David like Messiah).
This text is also interesting because it uses the plural "Messiahs of Aaron and Israel" instead of the singular.
Here we can see along with them awaiting a prophet. They were also awaiting two messianic figures.
This is consistent with Islamic teachings. Prophet Muhammad was the last prophet. His emergence was a sign that the hour was at hand.
    Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d:
I saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) pointing with his index and middle fingers, saying.
"The time of my Advent and the Hour are like these two fingers."
    Sahih al-Bukhari, 4936
    In-Book Reference: Book 65, Hadith 457
The Quran and the prophet Muhammad also affirmed that ‘Eēsā (Jesus) was the Messiah and he shall return. And the prophet told us of the Mahdi (a second Messianic figure). Other texts from the Dead Sea scrolls eludes that the two messianic figures will have two roles a kingly Messiah and a priestly Messiah.
The priestly messiah is described as Messiah of Aaron meaning from the tribe of Levi. The priest class in Jewish History was from the tribe of Levi and Aaron was a descendant of Levi. The Quran describes Mary, mother of Jesus, as a Sister of Aaron i.e. descendant of Aaron i.e. a Levite. Thus making Jesus a Levite as well i.e. “Priestly” and also “of Aaron”.
The Bible affirms this Since it described Zacharias’s wife Elizabeth, who is also Mary’s first cousin, as a Levite.
    Quran :
O sister [i.e., descendant] of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste." 19:28
    Proof from the Bible:
    Elizabeth was Mary’s cousin:
And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
    [Luke 1:36]
    Elizabeth was a Levite:
There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
    [Luke 1:5 ]
Ahlu Sunnah believe that Mahdi will be righteous king descended from Prophet Muhammad and will have his name “Muhammad bin Abdullah”. ‘Eēsā bin Maryam wil descend from Heaven and aid the Mahdi in killing the Dajjal and will pray behind the Mahdi instead of leading. They will both will establish a kingdom of justice for seven years.
Evidence affirming that ‘Eēsā will pray behind the Mahdi:
Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allaah (Peace & Blessings of Allaah be upon Him) said:
Eesaa ibn Maryam will descend, and their leader the Mahdi will say, "Come and lead us in prayer," but he will say, "No, one of them should lead them as an honour to this ummah from Allaah."" The version narrated by Muslim says: " Then Eesaa ibn Maryam (Peace be upon him) will descend and their leader will say, Come and lead us in prayer, but he will say, No, some of you are leaders over others as an honour from Allaah to this ummah."
    (Reported by Muslim, 225)
So Mahdi might be what is mentioned by these Jews as the “Kingly Messiah” and “David” like messiah.
May Allah bless you brother Paul and continue to guide you to the truth.
