Hull, Robataille, Chelios, Shanahan, were all former NHL captains and Fetisov was the captain of the Soviet Red Army team. None of them seemed to have a problem playing with Stevie. I'm normally not big on signing aging vets but in this case I'd be good with it. The fans down here in Tampa the fans won't be happy I know that much. This is a hockey town. The locals support the Bolts in a big way. That may change if Stamkos bolts (pun intended).

Not sure how much faith I have left in Yzerman. That Walman trade was by far one of the worst, nonsensical trades I've ever seen. Giving up a 2nd to get rid of Walman when we should've been getting rid of Holl was terrible. Add to that, he didn't put Walman on waivers and many teams said they would've claimed him or traded for him. Even if he was freeing up cap space, it doesn't make this trade any less ridiculous. Yzerman better have one he'll of an off-season or hot seat talk must begin.

Yeah a 40 goal scorer, point per game legend with multiple Stanley Cups is always a bad player to acquire.
@@joechriste7052 Edvinsson (21), Rasmussen (25), Johansson (23), Fischer (27), Sprong (27), Debrincat (26), Larkin (27). Plus Kasper (20) will be up this year and Danielson (20) might even get a look. So yeah, we are relatively young. Especially our core.

Yes he is. They've got the money earmarked for them and the money to basically do what he wants in free agency.
And stamkos isn't coming off of Hip surgery..who knows how Kanes hip will be this year even if the surgery was a year and 7 months ago
Kanes hip is fine. I don't think anyone is worried about that whatsoever

Yeah, I don't listen to the show so I'm not really sure what her role is or how much air-time she gets doing whatever it is but in these videos she's usually staring vacantly at her phone or laptop or she's fiddling with something. Doesn't look overly taxing that's for sure.
I'd like Stamkos on my team but not this team. Hes an old, 1 way player. I'd be really upset if we overpaid for him. He'd score 30 goals but it wont take the team anywhere. We need to get Trouba AND Montour

@@Treez13 You're right. NYR would have to eat at LEAST half of his salary. With him, we'd have Seider, Edvinsson, Trouba, another FA, Maatta, Chiarot, Petry, Johansson. Definitely improved from last season.
I agree. If the Wings were a cup contender, then Stampkos would be welcome, but not now.
You basically said, you don’t want Patrick Kane back. We need 1-2 top 6 forwards back with Kane gone. I wouldn’t mind Trouba, the same way I thought of Chiarot on the team. If Trouba can play average defense, he’d be a good get on the bottom 4. Johansson needs a veteran pairing, and Trouba could be a solid one on the 3rd pair.
Great... tell stamkos to bring his cane and walker so kane can use it also... yzerman as a gm is a joke. Great players dont always make great office people. Gretzky was great but as a coach not so much.
Yzerman has taken a 39 point team loaded with little talent, bad contracts, and no prospects and improved every season substantially - finished with 91 points this year, tied with a playoff team. They drafted a Calder winning #1 defenseman at #6, Lucas Raymond at #4 who may be the steal of the 1st round. They have the #1 prospect pool in the NHL while getting shafted in the draft every year and not even getting a top 3 pick. Now they have the 3rd most cap space in the league and are looking to sign a guy who scored 40 goals last year and was above a point per game; a guy that has multiple Stanley Cups and can teach/nurture a winning atmosphere. Get a grip.

@@theirishman088 Yeah they're coming out of a rebuild genius. They're almost ready to really push. This year, playoffs weren't expected, but a bonus and they got a as close as anyone can. Next year, playoffs, year after, legit threat. The guy built a borderline Dynasty in Tampa. I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing.

@@andrewborody How long did it take to make this so call dynasty team in tampa? He has literally re started his rebuild 4 times because of bad moves on his part. He is great as a hockey player and that's it.
