Watching in 2021, and thankful this meeting was made available on line. It's quite an insight into the values, concerns, joys and sorrows of Newfoundlanders. I plan to move from Nova Scotia to Bell Island, Newfoundland this summer, and this video is a good reminder that these long-standing viability concerns are still current.

Canadian government would love to abolish anything that has to do with anglo culture. If this was happening somewhere in Quebec politicians would be falling all over themselves to save it.
