@Sals_Garage yes I think this is the cause also on high lateral pressure 2zz loose oil pressure especially on lotus and maybe is another cause for wear camshaft. Oil quality also is very important (I use 0w40 M1 FS) What camshaft is this on your video mate? From mwr?
@@DimoS... thanks for sharing. Good info, and this crank shaft is the same as OEM but hardened so less likely to have any issues in the future. It’s from BOE.
Perfect timing (no pun intended)! I have my hardened cams from BOE and am getting ready to do the swap. This video is such a welcome resource!
Nice! Happy to help 😊

Happy to help! 😊
Hey love your videos, what happened to the F-Type?
Thank you! We sold it about 3 years ago for the M3, which we now sold for the Lotus.
👍
Thanks bro!
Why in some 2zzge I see wear and in other with 250k miles is ok without wear? Weird
Depends on how you drive. If the oil is not warm enough and you get on 2nd can it can cause wear. Basically keep revs low until up to temp.

nice work Sal! The camshaft wear on C63 is also a very common problem. Wish I could be there and film it for you like old times
