Debuting on the album “ God Is In This Place” (2014) and written over 25 years ago, Bonnie was inspired to write ‘His Name” after receiving a powerful revelation concerning the name of Jesus while battling through a stormy season of sickness and disappointment. After years of sitting on the shelf, the track was finally recorded and released at a time when Zimbabwe (and the world) needed to begin their own battle against the things of this world, and trust in the name above all names.
“Therefore God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, that at the mention of the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father… I want to encourage anyone who is dealing with a situation that seems impossible to overcome to understand that-even though every attack has a name-the name of Jesus is above all of them! Thanks Bonnie for putting on TH-cam. I remember singing this in Harry Margolis Hall over and over as well as in my Quiet times at home. God clearly sees us through sickness, grief and loss.
