According to TH-cam I’ve been a paying member for close to 4 years, and your videos have been a regular source of both entertainment and relaxation. Additionally they were/are a part of my day that I looked forward to, part of my own wellness plan for a health care/frontline worker with diagnosed PTSD. Your videos through the pandemic offered me a recreational release from the death and devastation I dealt with daily. You’re videos were a genuine source of information but also a release for someone time poor to embellish hobbies, let alone have some recreational time to them selves.
It was only last week I put a stop to my subscription because I feared the worst for you! I’m glad you’ve surfaced from this ‘storm in a tea cup’ situation, and miraculously found a new way to produce income/support yourself particularly in this time of financial upheaval and housing crisis. Kudos to your family and being there to support you.
I’ll figure out shortly how to switch my subscription back on, because I genuinely feel you have built a community that’s worth supporting/has supported people to embrace their passion throughout a time of major upheaval. You’re a top bloke, an ambassador of the Aussie dream and the QPF need to turn their attention to chasing down real criminals.
I would love to write a personal letter of affirmation to the courts, but would equally settle for your local MP.

Australian law enforcement is one of the world's most ridiculous when it comes to cars. Over the years, there's no other country from which I've become genuinely angry after watching how absurdly out of proportion they blow burnouts and enthusiastic driving

Unfortunately the Aussie car scene has a lot of utter fu*kwits involved. There's always some fully sik c*nt that goes too far. This is what ruins it for everyone else.
Take Summernats for eg. The event today is a direct reflection of the minority that can't control themselves. Skids would still be allowed on the cruise route If people didn't jump the barriers or drivers try to shred like they're Victor Bray every lap.
Andrew when you get the laptop back do a full factory reset and replace the hard drive sooooo no one can remote access it with out your knowledge not saying that any government official is doing anything wrong but i would not trust them thats my take on the issue and make sure theirs no tracker on the e92 just saying cheers glenn

If its a newer mac all he can do is wipe and re-install as all the drives are soldered on and non replaceable, or they only work on that device and cant be replaced with another one of the same make or model. (i believe some people have been working towards upgrading/replacing the storage on macs but for the most part its not worth the trouble), best to just zero out the drive and fresh install of macOS

I went through a similar thing with Derbyshire police in the UK back in 2018 and wouldn't want anyone going through the same thing, worst and most expensive phase of my life (although thankfully not quite what you had to fork out!) What a waste of Australia tax payers money, what a waste of police time!

Not just becuase of the position it put me in, but as a business owner im aware of what it cost to invest so much man power and time in to the investigation. Utter waste of resources.

I remembered when I erased all my videos just because of the sideshows around my area. I figured since something like that happened to you, it’s only a matter of time before they do this in the state to get people to stop doing dumb things at car meets. But here is the downside to all that, petrol heads like you like to show the progress of the car, and well sideshows, there was a huge difference except having a vehicle. Give or take the police will have to try to get at the true corporate not the ones that can pay the fines just because it’s easier than getting at someone with a load ton of money. They might just be milking the case.

Glad your still kicking around. Sucks you had to go through that. I lost my license for 6 months once. Blew by a cop in my 1990 Volvo 740 turbo at around 140mph. Cop was cool, Didt arrest me. $1500 fine, $2k lawyer and 6 moths no license. I was looking at 18 months in jail and a dishonorable discharge from the Air Force so I got off easy.. I'll be looking forward to new vids! Merry christmas🎉

Shit man I had not idea all of this was going on. Sure a couple of traffic laws were broken on the channel but a raid was an unwarranted overzealous reaction by Queensland Police. Good on you for ploughing through it and I hope you guys come back bigger and better.

Most of the laws are fine, it’s the inconsistency around enforcement that is stupid.

It was horrific timing that’s for sure. But hey silver lining. We are in a great position for the best and most informative content ever.
Nothing like the presumption of innocence… oh wait.
The correct way to turn the tables is to register all motor vehicles under a corporation / ABN. They then have to work on the assumption of innocence. If the vehicle is registered in a natural person‘s name, they play the guilty until proven otherwise card, every single time. I once had an encounter where I would have been sent to jail and/or dragged through the courts to the point life wasn’t worth living, had the vehicle been in my name due to the nature of the alleged offending. Due to it being registered to a corporation all they could do was send two officers to the registered business address where they could find no sign of the vehicle in question. The investigating officer wrote a nasty letter with some false threats, which we replied that “we don’t know what you are talking about” and the matter was dropped completely.. interestingly it did not even make the news.

Lawyers like to be cautious, but in some cases make your case public can be the best thing for you. It can pressure them and the prosecution to drop the charges quicker.

Havent watched this channel for about 3 years now. Very surprised they even targeted you..... Like 90% of your videos are maintenance and repairs. Even your 0-100 videos how could they possibly take that as hooning.
I know.... like i mentioned i think they were expecting to find footage that was much worse than was on the channel.... which they didnt. However didnt stop them doubling down as the investigation and court process progressed. At the start of december i was facing 11 charges.... absolute madness.
