6:20 clear example of the grip differences in the wet: the 'wet line' (audi) has so much more grip in the wet compared to the traditional racing line (porsche)
The first laps in the wet in the two stints in the beginning before dry finish last week. It was insane and crazy but that is what pros do and was a great show with a photo finish in the GT3 class and third place overall as well. Hopefully the same at Le Mans next week.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Avoiding tire degradation always looks slow or boring but obviously pays off in the long run. Wouldn’t mind a little more aggression and downshifting though. I just kept seeing a lot of wasted momentum and slow line choice. Edit: I take it back, this driver is trash. Overtakes teammate and overcooks it as a result and ends up in the gravel…..garbage. Driver knew the brakes were fading earlier and kept on plowing like normal. So much for tire conservation…..
