Considering the Durham is kinda abandoned now, the MD will become the new king no matter what, unless the Durham is brought back. Edit: Commented at 40 seconds, 4 minutes in.
The Gavril MD is trying too hard to be a semi truck replacement only I feel like. It's a great new addition! But I feel like it could seriously use some better options for suspension and wheels and tires. Just allowing an "offroad" suspension option like the D series has, with softer suspension would be super nice to have available. They could make the hubs interchangeable with that suspension type too so you could use standard 5 lug or other hubs with better wheel options for offroad packages. It'd be SUPER easy to stuff 44" crawler tires under the MD already, but we need the suspension and hub options. -_- Oh good video too btw. 🤣
While the MD may be lacking in customization now, it's level of polish already makes it a better option (at least for me). It took SO LONG for the Durham to get openable doors, and even then, no proper detents, and no opening of the hood.
I do feel like the mod works well alongside the MD Series as in some configs you can tell there is a slight size difference (Flatbed for example). It’s almost like a series in between the H-Series and the MD-Series. A perfect platform for a truck in the middle. Biggest to smallest (eyeballing it): -T-Series -MD-Series (2 Generations) -Gavril Durham (3 Generations) -H-Series (2 Generations) -D-Series (3 Generations) I plan to keep the Durham in my game until it eventually becomes an orange blob or simply stops functioning. I surprisingly still see it’s uses.
The MD is definitely an improvement and I'm such a fan of the Daytons, although the Durham has more configurations and better engines. Sadly the Durham mod was abandoned by the creator but hopefully someone picks it up and revamps the mod in the future.
The truth is, the MD is a clean official Durham, I think the maker of the Durham should be integrated in developing the MD and making the MD have more config.
I like the Durham a lot, but the one thing the MD doesn't have is a rollback version and honestly the T Series Rollbacks are a little Large for the Maps and roleplays I do
Durham is a great mod, sad to see it go abandoned since the MD and the Durham could co-exist, the MD is more heavy duty oriented its like a baby T series. The Durham is a D series on steroids!
@@theconedcat-nk4rv Well the MD is much more durable, has better engine options, has much better suspension, it can carry a lot more weight, has a higher and there's a lot more factors that make it just better.

i deff agree tho you have a point
I noticed I can't make a slammed 4x4 version and a few other issues mainly lack of parts options in some category I expect they'll keep adding to it

Interesting tests it cool to see someone test our trucks this way and go this in depth.
Yeah no problem!

I was waiting for a video like this
MD has the best sounding Diesel in the game without mods. I drive it just for the sound
