"Under the Ivy" is another of Kate's songs that tug at my heart-strings with every listen. Also "The Kick Inside" (debut album's title track) can be emotional. But the emotion that mostly comes to me while listening to Kate Bush's music is pure joy!!

I listen to the Before the Dawn live version of this sweet song and marvel at the confidence and tranquility of a master at work. Kate and her piano, every note, every phrase, every chord and nuance captured perfectly. And each time I hear her sing that beautiful line "They shimmer, like mirrors...", my mind's eye always takes me back to that point in the Mr Marrs offering and it becomes that much more special. The value added by his masterful touch is so appreciated.
