Only takes 30 mins to get to Nige and Anders beer kit festival but 2 hours to get back. The difference is staggering.

you guys crack me up "dont get me wrong" lol, I see its a few sessions down the road now and slurring has advanced even further, passing out could be next , thanks for the video, Cheers 🍻

Pretty sure there was no passing out. None of us have much memory of the last episode, which will be out soon, Anders is having a nightmare trying to edit it down to a watchable chunk!

The 'don't get me wrong' counter was very funny. Seems like Mark has cracked this homebrew lark....3 fine beers👏
Does Nigel have hollow legs? He seemed totally unaffected by the drink. Fair play.
So, if you cold crash a beer less priming sugar is required?
    Cheers gents, another belter🍻🍻

Hollow legs here, technically yes, less priming sugar is required, but I have found personally it depends on how tight your fermentor lid is. With a loose lid I would prime as normal, tight fitting, a reduced amount. I have had a brew that had three equal Tilt hydromiter reading, three days in a row. I cold crashed for 48 hours then transferred to another container to batch prime, and as I always do I have a taste. There was a light fizz, this was the disolved CO2. I use this to calculate the priming sugar

However with some of my fermentors I ignore the temperature bit and assume room temperature. Trial, error and instinct. If in doubt put less.

Nigel does indeed have very long hollow legs.

Great fun lads. Well done. I am very much a lazy full grain brewer but do quite a few kits to keep stocks up. Been enjoying your back catalogue and getting the passion back so many thanks. I recommend you try the Dark Rock Session extract kits with their enhancers and the Gritchie fresh wort kits on Malt Miller as additoms to your reviews. Cheers David

Nige here, I have seen the Gritchie kits on line, however the brewery has been closed, so I don't know if these will disappear from the market place. The Dark Rock does look mighty interesting, I will give them a go at some point. Glad that passion is rising, beer is good.

Nige here again, just realised Dark Rock Brewing is only 40mins away from me, happy days.

Hi Nige. Great to hear from you. I have certainly had much success with their full grain kits _ milky way, proper job, bosses boss and the west coast extract. Will be knocking up the nectaron and west coast pale ale extract kits this weekend. Will be kegging but can bottle a few litres for reviewing if you want for the show.
