    Excellent video presentation, with progressive development of physiological priciples. Clinical application at the end of the video is particularly important for anyone caring for children.

      Yes, the clinical application is very important! Then I come to understand why pediatricians/doctors ask these questions.

    I have hypertension and among all drugs and agents I find this video to posess the most potent hypotensive effect. Good job, Dr Campbell!

    great lesson here
    Dr. John please does this barorecepter reflex occur simultaneously with the RAAS or occurs differently? And if not, which of these processes occur first?
    Greetings all the way from Ghana.

      Simultaneously yes. But the baroreceptor is on a second by second basis, RAAS is longer term regulation, days and weeks.

    Please diagram and describe the dynamics of the blood pressure test!
    The #1 cause of death IS the blood pressure test;
    sphygmomanometer equipment used for this test.
    Please!

    Good start. But then this lecture seemed to grow uncharacteristically disorganized and rambling. I was expecting a lecture that covered cholinergic and adrenergic regulation of BP and the renin angiotensin aldosterone system. I would have been very interested in a discussion of Alpha and Beta receptors, and maybe even a talk about action potential and vasoconstriction, as a lead-in to pharmacological treatments of HTN.
    I was not so interested in hypovolemic shock from hemorrhage, burns, diarrhea, vomiting or anaphylaxis. And neonatal children, I'd think, should be a video in themselves.
    I'm a big fan of Dr. Campbell's. But I was disappointed in the time I spent on this one.
