Call of the Sea Summer Camp

Call of the Sea Campers learn to raise the sails and sail the schooner Seaward. Here they are shown singing a (sort of) sea shantey as they haul up the mainsail, led by the emailing crew. We sail out of Sausalito, CA, and explore the San Francisco Bay waters, around Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. When the conditions allow, we stop at Angel Island for picnicing, hiking and beach combing. Activities are a mix of seamanship and marine science focused activities, with lots of fun and arts and crafts too! More information at callofthesea.o...
