I hope young viewers hear this man's advice: create the job doing the work you -want- to do. I know that sounds ridiculously naive and impractical, but with the benefit of old age, I realize now that when I was young, everyone in my life emphasized 'a good job' by which they meant a job that paid a lot of money. There was an ember of doubt inside me about that, but I lacked the courage (thus the en-courage-ment) to take those risks. There be dragons!

There are several Tall Ships in Australia that are used for sail training . In Brisbane Queensland the Sail Training association of Queensland ( STAQ)runs the " South Passage " a 100ft Schooner. I've spent many happy hours on her .Sailing Moreton bay and the Queenslan coast From Sydney to Townsville. I've sailed 2 " Brisbane to Gldstone " yacht races on her .everything is done by hand with no power winches . They take school groups church groups scout troops and business groups on Adventure sails for I day to a week .it's a wonderfull experience .

Illinois spent a term in Folsom prison in 1892. He and his father John H. Wise were once slaves of Gov. Henry Alexander Wise.

Saw the brigantine 9/24/20 south of Angel Island AWS 20-25 and flying jib, flying jib, Spanker, staysail, fore top, and fore top gallent. She was easily moving at 6.5 kits. Went in lee of Angel to a dead calm. Sweet.

Last evening, July 24 2020 my partner and I were thrilled to sail on the first revenue-generating sail on Matthew Turner. It was Alan's dream come true - in which he enrolled many people to participate over seven years - and it's is now available to the public and "youth of all ages". Well Done ALL!!

Went on a tour with a small group. It was fascinating seeing construction methods and having the story explained.

do you have any suggestions for a beginner because i have not built a ship neither a boat of any kind but i am trying to start a old type ship that will take less then a year i don't care how long it takes as long as it is finished before the next year comes by when i start the reason for it is because i am going to live on it but because its normally going to be cheaper depending on which type of ship/vessel and where my supplies come from, also its cheaper to live aboard a ship then on land not saying it's free but it's so much cheaper i cannot afford to move out of the country which i have to if i want to stay with my fiance she is much older then me which the age difference shouldn't matter but its still against the Law over here in the United States which my fiance is over in the United Kingdom and my most favorite part of the planet is Stockholm, Sweden, So please if you or anyone else can help me Please let me know you can contact me besides here on youtube at facebook.com/JasonBlueStaff and on Skype: deanhenrywinchester and when my cell phone is payed you can text me at: 1401-225-7621 please get back to me as soon/fast as you could Please and thank you.
