One of my favorite albums of all time! I think you'd love their album Wish You Were Here, another masterpiece. Would also love to see a video on Radiohead's Kid A or Hail To The Thief. Loving the channel!
You're right about the money part. When it comes to Dark Side of the Moon after checking on several websites they still sell eight to ten thousand copies of Dark Side of the Moon per week!! They're approaching fifty million copies sold worldwide on just Dark Side of the Moon! They've sold over 250 million albums worldwide I'm right now or approaching 260 million sold. As far as music fading away, as long as people your age discover albums like this and Dark Side of The Moon has stood the test of time it will always be part of somebody's record collection or album collection or music collection whatever they're currently calling it! Also people will always have that album in mind with the album cover and the light shooting through the prism!! That keeps this album in everyone's consciousness!!
Brain Damage: if you don’t stay in your place , society thinks you are crazy. Then the newspaper shows up(or for us it would be social media) and makes us crazy with all the bs and pain and violence of the world. And so he cracks and the madness enters his head. And he goes insane. (In the band , their friend was very creative and out there but then took LSD or something and went insane and was never the same ).
Great reaction! The lyricism on this album is very good. Btw Roger Waters was/is a very politically active, progressive socialist minded person. So some of the lyrics like Money and Us and Them should be seen in those lens. Money is making fun of the drive for money and Us and Them about human divisions. Meanwhile Brain Damage is about madness. The original founder of Pink Floyd went insane and Roger was always thinking about that and the nature of insanity.
There is no Dark Side of the Moon as a matter of fact it's all dark. That other tune playing in the background was an orchestral version of The Beatles song "Ticket To Ride" It was playing in the studio next to where they were recording!! Unless you have a real good copy of darkseid and really good earphones most people do not hear this! It's awesome that you did notice it and bring it up!!!!
Roger Waters asked various people in their crew the question, "when the last time you were in a fight? And were you "in the right"? You hear their answers woven into the beginnings and endings of songs
Dark Side of the Moon is their best known album but many people think WIsh You Were Here is their best. If you react to that just know that it was made after they had gotten rich from Dark Side of the Moon, had become disenchanted with the music industry and were missing the original founder of PF, Syd, who had gone insane a few years before Dark Side.
Hello again and its like 2 am and i thought you should listen to any system of a down album they are all great so i believe you should listen to it also great vid
Hope you all good nacho we miss your reactions
Selfish machines album by Pierce the veil

The one who said yeah they were cruising for a bruising was Linda McCartney
