I’m just over the moon with this pattern! The chains between the trebles make it just a wee bit lacier than solid fans. And how timely, My niece just told the family she is expecting, and I fancy this will make the perfect christening blanket!

I always struggle with the ends and beginnings of rows. So at the end of a 'fan' row is it a treble into the top of the double, ch1, turn, then at the end of a 'chains' row, double crochet into the top of the 3rd ch of the ch3, ch3 and turn?

A us stitch for double crochet is not the same stitch as a treble crochet stitch
Great pattern however it's a yarn gobbler.
I find it hard to see what u r doing with your hands blocking
