Rasgulla Recipe ( Odia ) | Odia Rasagola Recipe | Rosogolla Recipe | Bengali Rasgulla Recipe | Rasagolla Recipe : Rasgulla or Rasagola is a sweet recipe popular in Odisha and West-Bengal as well. Both the states have their own versions and dates of the rasgulla's origin.
Rasgulla or Rasagola has received the geographical Indication ( GI ) tag for its local version of rasgulla. These super soft mouth melting rasgullas are prepared from ball shaped chhena ( cottage cheese ) dumplings and cooked in thin sugar syrup. Rasgullas are very soft and juicy . Ingredients :
1. Milk - 1 ltr
2. Vinegar or Lime Juice - 3 tbsp ( to curdle the milk or to make the chhena / cottage cheese )
3. Sugar - 250 gm or 1 cup
4. Water - 5 cups
5. Keora Water - 1 tsp ( or use green cardamom powder for fragrance )
