Hey pilots! Tricker here and I want to welcome you to my channel on combat aviation. I'm a real world pilot in the Airbus 319/320/321 series and I enjoy DCS World, Falcon BMS, Falcon 4.0, IL-2 Sturmovik, X-plane 11, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
If you want to fly WWII aircraft over Normandy and the English Channel, then DCS World WWII is for you and they have plenty of aircraft to choose from such as the BF-109, FW-190, Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. If you enjoy modern aerial combat then you want to focus more on DCS World products such as the F-16, A-10C Warthog, AH-64D Apache, F-15, F-14, JF-17, SU-27, Mirage, Mig-29, F-18 Hornet, Mi-8, Mi-24 Hind, Uh-1 Huey, Ka-50, F-5, Mig-21, AV-8b Harrier, and the F-4 Phantom. Some of the mods that are out there for DCS World are the F-22 Raptor, SU-57, A-4 Skyhawk, Rafale, and Gripen.
I enjoy other games such as Total War, Battlefield, War Thunder, Escape from Tarkov, as well as Squad.

@@Penci1man2 It isn't as demanding or difficult as people often say it is, i run it fine with a GTX 970 lol
I run it good on an AMD 560, sure sometimes I stutter, but once everything balances out and catches up, I'm straight 60 no issues.
One neat feature is the Mirage can also use autopilot for landing
@Gwil gay yeah for approach, but it can't actually land itself, but for 90% of the approach yeah
im still clueless now.. set tacan, INS, APP mode everything and does not work for me
Funnily enough, I think the Mig-21 has the same kind of autopilot.

@@Account-id8yo after setting ILS you need to contact ATC for them to activate ILS on the runway for you

You can also have the synthetic runway on the HUD (which is very useful in bad weather) if you out some nav points for landing on airfields via the mission editor.
There are so many shorts about how to start different aircrafts in dcs and people in comments always joke about how they gonna steal the jet from their local airbase. But how they going to land? Good, that's now this base is covered as well)

F/A-18: full flaps and lower gear under 250kts. now SLAMMMM it on the deck or the runway. 800fpm? no problem!
When I used to fly Falcon 4.0, I did both Air Force and Navy landings in the F16; even though the F16 isn’t supposed to be flown the Navy way.

a bit steep there, should aim for ~2.5 degree glide slope (the shorten line between horizon and -5 degree ladder).
Like a boss is coming to a full stop and hitting the first turnout. Wheel brakes on a rotary dial set to max, no flare, chute as soon as you slam down like an F18. Works every time for me in mp.

In war Thunder with a prop plane you just deploy the landing gear after lowering thirst to 0% then put flaps to landing and pray you don't flip the plane

What a fascinating way to land an aircraft, as opposed to the more normal way using speed and decent rate. I wonder if the Rafale uses a different method?
You still use speed. The little markers on the lower part of the HUD have to remain aligned within the 2 bars. It indicates your best approach speed.
Particularité of this plane, like many other deltas, is it doesn't have flaps. Only airbrakes and ailerons. So you have to use your aircrafts shape to slow down. In fact, many fighters do this while on the runway it's called an aerodynamic braking.
The Rafale is built quite similarly, so it uses the same methods.
@@Mr-Patate87well aerodynamic breaking at least for the F-16 is used more to lessen wear on the brakes.

Why not just releasing the joystick out of your hands as soon as the plane touches down?
You need to keep your plane in control when landing, not just dump it straight to the ground.
Keeping the nose up when landing (aerobraking) is used to slow down the aircraft without using the brakes as the brakes can take damage if used at that speed.
Generally, when your nose starts to fall down (100~ish knots) you can put the nose down soft on the runway and hit the brakes.
So that means that I’m an auto pilot didn’t think I was paying attention huh

Nah he did it all wrong what you have to do is cobra once you are 50 feet of the ground drop gear mid maneuver and land safely😁

I have small part of this mirage,that is shooted and chrashed by Serbian army in Bosnia,in NATO agresion 1995.
Too steep in the end game. Use the 3deg index on the sides.
