Nice! Thanks for the demos at the end of your video, that was awesome playing you did there too! Bonham the legend, not my era but I love Led Zeppelin stuff & playing me some In My Time Of Dying is a must here & there. I have practised these rock fills heaps & really had to level up my game when I first started learning to play Grohl's A Song For The Dead, the solo at the very end. It was pretty much what you played in this video when you brang the snare in. I really should get my left foot involved more, defintely my weak point for these when I try using my left foot rather than right. As always thanks again for your video!
Thank you so much for being so engaging and letting me know that these are being watched and helping! Yea these trios are very old school but they still work, sound great and are fun to play! And yes Dave uses them A LOT! I think drummers these days have forgotten about them...I have some more fill ideas like this coming soon. Again, Thank you so much for the feedback and engagement! If you ever want to go deeper on these types of things let me know...I think I left my email on this...Have a great day! and Thank you!
@@brandonfaulknermusic Yea definitely. No probs Brandon I'm learning a lot. I've always self taught myself but I want to start getting proper lessons soon. Brandon If I said you could only choose 1 genre to recommend for lessons & that genre would make it easier to pick up or learn other genres, would you say that would be Jazz?? Cheers.
