I have one of these old Snapper mowers helping the weeds grow out back of the house. I was surprised and excited to see a video on a Snapper this old. THANKS so much for the vid - I am going to see if mine can get running tomorrow!
Excellent repair and explanations along the way mark, Thank you very much. The reason there usually Will be water inside the carburetor is because of condensation due to sudden weather changes each year from The transition months of winter to spring. The only way to prevent it from forming is to remove the gas cap and put a clean rag in place of the gas cap so that the Gasoline storage and delivery system is open to the atmosphere. Engineers refer to this Formation of water vapor from the air as thermodynamic Seasonal changes caused from sudden changes of cold Dry weather to wet moist, which occurs In the 30-60°F Range with changing humidity, such as during rain in spring from winter. By the way, I don't understand why you didn't change the spark plug before attempting to start after nearly 12 years. But, you seem to be right about not doing it on the different machines you work on. Thanks again and take care. 👍👍👍
Hey brother - can you do a guy a favor and reply to me with the model number off that one? It matches mine exactly - and briggs website requires that i know the model number in order to order parts
