- Today we shall elucidate the workings of the Astra Militarum regiment of the Armageddon System: The Steel Legion.
Experts in fast deployment, overwhelming firepower and mechanised warfare, the Armageddon Steel Legion safeguard the factorums and populace of the Hive Cities of Armageddon.

Yeah they are , i keep getting REKKKKT by Orkz while playing Dawn of War Ultimate Apocalypse mod so Steel Legion is probably better than my spehss marines.

Accidentally ended up with a Steel Legion army, very cool ass faction.
Really damn weird that, despite being the *steel legion* because they field lots of vehicles in lore, their regimental doctrine's second effect does something armour of contempt does and then just... disables armour of contempt because it turns off if you have other vehicle AP modifiers. Makes your vehicles worse...
Now I just take vostroyans because they're basically better steel legion.
And now their uniform is in Warhammer 40K Darktide, and I'm never taking it off.
Man I'd love to play a FPS game set during the wars of Armageddon.
The steel legion are one the most bad ass Regiment of guard ever. I had 2 squads of metal steel legion dudes and their 2 chimera. They need quality plastic models soon.

I'm sorry, but did I hear you correctly? Armageddon's population exceeds any two planets within the Segmentum Solar combined?
Are you telling me that a planet that has oceans, jungles, deserts, mountains, volcanos, wastelands, and destroyed cities.. That has experienced devastating war after devastating war after devastating war.. Armageddon.. Has more people than both Holy Terra and Holy Mars combined?..
I mean.. You must know Holy Terra is the capital of the Imperium, a planet wide city, an ecumenopolis, and has not seen a major war fought on its surface for thousands of years.. With Holy Mars not too different in the same regards.. Each planet must have populations in the tens of quadrillions, if not hundreds of quadrillions..
And you're trying to tell me that Armageddon has a larger population than not only one of them, but both of them combined?
I think I'm going to have to call the Inquisition Ordo Census.

You need not be a mighty supernatural, augmented, or enhanced being to face the dangers these men and women face. Only fervant faith, a weapon, and nerves of ceramite. It is one of the most terrible trageties what has ocurred to hteir home world, and it is an honor for them to continue to fight on against any and all odds. Have a fantastic day everyone!
