A story about John Kennedy airport, formerly known as Idlewild. C/U of the torch held by the Statue of Liberty, there is a shot of a helicopter and an aerial view of the airport.
Various shots interior and exterior of the modern airport, a woman walks through an automatic door. Shot of First National City Bank and ASPCA animal hospital.
Various shots of a cat, monkey and bird in cages being fed and watered. Shots of Our Lady of the Skies chapel. There are several more shots of the airport and the jet freighter service with freight being loaded onto the aeroplanes. We also see the airport at night with the Fountain of Liberty lit up.
